Attack damage (or AD) directly increases the physical damage of a unit's autoattack and also improves the damage some champion abilities too. Every champion starts with some base attack damage that increases each level. Additionally, several items and champion abilities, as well as spells, buffs, runes and masteries grant bonus attack damage. The champion's total attack damage is the base attack damage plus the bonus attack damage.

This statistic stacks additively in most circumstances. When there are percentile attack damage bonuses, they are first added together if there are several sources and then they multiply the total attack damage of the champion.

At level 18, base attack damage ranges from 84.8 (Orianna Orianna) to 139 (Mega Gnar Mega Gnar).

Attack Damage has a theoretical gold value of 36 gold per unit. This means that B. F B. F. Sword and Pickaxe Pickaxe are the most efficient AD core items, with a gold/AD ratio of 31 and 35 respectively. The costs of these stats are always offset by increased final costs of their upgraded items, so The Bloodthirster The Bloodthirster and Infinity Edge Infinity Edge still break even at 36 gold per 1 AD.

  • Alistar's Alistar's Unbreakable Will Unbreakable Will increases his attack damage by 60 / 75 / 90 for 7 seconds.
  • Dr Dr. Mundo's Masochism Masochism increases his attack damage by 40 / 55 / 70 / 85 / 100 plus 0.4 / 0.55 / 0.7 / 0.85 / 1 per 1% health he is missing for 5 seconds.
  • Fiora's Fiora's Riposte Riposte increases her attack damage by 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 35.
  • Gangplank's Gangplank's Raise Morale Raise Morale passively increases his attack damage by 8 / 10 / 12 / 14 / 16. He can activate this ability to increase his attack damage by 12 / 19 / 26 / 33 / 40 instead and nearby allied champions' attack damage by half of that amount for 7 seconds.
  • Hecarim's Hecarim's Warpath Warpath passive gains attack damage equal to Error: Parameter '3' is not accepted.% of his bonus movement speed.
  • Janna's Janna's Eye Of The Storm Eye Of The Storm increases an allied unit's attack damage by 14 / 23 / 32 / 41 / 50 (+10% AP) for 5 seconds or until the shield breaks.
  • Malphite's Malphite's Brutal Strikes Brutal Strikes increases his attack damage by 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40% for 6 seconds.
  • Master Yi's Master Yi's Wuju Style Wuju Style passively increases his attack damage by 10% of his attack damage when the ability is not on cooldown.
  • Nasus' Nasus' Fury of the Sands Fury of the Sands grants him 6.375% of the damage it deals as attack damage.
  • Nocturne's Nocturne's Duskbringer Duskbringer grants him 15 / 25 / 35 / 45 / 55 attack damage as long as he is on the trail created by the ability.
  • Poppy's Poppy's Paragon of Demacia Paragon of Demacia increases her attack damage by 1.5 / 2 / 2.5 / 3 / 3.5 when she is hit by an attack or hits an enemy. This buff lasts for 5 seconds and stacks up to 10 times. She can activate this ability to gain max stacks.
  • Rammus' Rammus' Spiked Shell Spiked Shell passively increases his attack damage by 25% of his armor.
  • Rengar's Rengar's Empowered Savagery Empowered Savagery increases his attack damage by 10% for 5 seconds.
  • Riven's Riven's Blade of the Exile Blade of the Exile increases her attack damage by 20% for 15 seconds.
  • Taric's Taric's Radiance Radiance increases his attack damage by 30 / 50 / 70 and half of that to nearby allied champions for 10 seconds.
  • Trundle's Trundle's Chomp Chomp increases his attack damage by 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 for 8 seconds.
  • Tryndamere's Tryndamere's Bloodlust Bloodlust passively increases his attack damage by 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 plus 0.15 / 0.2 / 0.25 / 0.3 / 0.35 per 1% of his maximum health missing.
  • Twitch's Twitch's Rat-Ta-Tat-Tat Rat-Ta-Tat-Tat increases his attack damage by 20 / 28 / 36 for 7 seconds.
  • Vayne's Vayne's Final Hour Final Hour increases her attack damage by 30 / 50 / 70 for 8 / 10 / 12 seconds.
  • Zed's Zed's Living Shadow Living Shadow passively increases his bonus attack damage by 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 / 25%.

Masteries

  • Brute Force mastery 2014 Brute Force increases your champion's attack damage by 0.22 / 0.39 / 0.55 per level (4 / 7 / 10 bonus attack damage at level 18).
  • Martial Mastery mastery 2014 Martial Mastery increases your champion's attack damage by 4.

Runes

  • Tryndamere's Tryndamere's Mocking Shout Mocking Shout reduces surrounding enemy champions' attack damage by 20 / 35 / 50 / 65 / 80 for 4 seconds.
  • Trundle's Trundle's Chomp Chomp reduces the opponent's attack damage by 10 / 12.5 / 15 / 17.5 / 20 for 8 seconds.

  • It is worth noting that Mega Gnar Mega Gnar has the highest base AD of any champion at 139 dmg. Due to him being the alternate form of Gnar Gnar, he isn't on the table.
