Mana Barrier

Passive: When Blitzcrank drops below 20% of his maximum health, he shields himself for 50% of his current mana for up to 10 seconds.

Ability Details
Mana Barrier is a self-targeted absorption shield that triggers automatically.

Additional Information:

  • Mana Barrier's cooldown starts as soon as it activates, not when it ends.
  • Any damage that puts Blitzcrank below 20% of his max. health is instead dealt to Mana Barrier.
  • If Blitzcrank is killed from anywhere higher than 20% of his max. health (e.g. from massive burst damage), Mana Barrier will not activate and it will not go on cooldown.
  • If Blitzcrank is already below 20% of his max. health when Mana Barrier's cooldown ends, it will not activate until he takes damage again.

Rocket Grab

Active: Blitzcrank fires his right hand in the target direction, Airborne icon pulling the first enemy hit to him, Stun icon stunning them for 0.5 seconds and dealing magic damage.

  • Magic Damage: 80 / 135 / 190 / 245 / 300 (+ 100% AP)
Ability Details
Rocket Grab is a linear, colliding skill shot that damages and pulls the first enemy hit.

Additional Information:

  • Rocket Grab has a 0.25 second casting time.[2]
  • Rocket Grab's damage is dealt on impact, not after the target is pulled.
  • Rocket Grab can hit and pull stealthed units. This will not explicitly reveal the stealthed enemy, but can/will reveal Akali Akali, Evelynn Evelynn and Teemo Teemo due to the conditions of their stealth.
  • Rocket Grab can be used to pull enemies through terrain.
  • Rocket Grab will not pull Baron Nashor Baron Nashor, Dragon Dragon or Vilemaw Vilemaw, although it will still damage them.
  • Rocket Grab will damage visible Jack In The Box.png Jack In The Boxes, but will not pull these traps towards Blitzcrank. Invisible boxes will neither take damage or be pulled.
  • Blitzcrank will attempt to attack enemy champions that are successfully pulled towards him.
  • Cleanse.png Cleanse, Remove Scurvy.png Remove Scurvy or Quicksilver Sash item.png Quicksilver Sash used by enemy champions while being pulled will not interrupt Rocket Grab and the champion will reach Blitzcrank.
  • Blitzcrank cannot use Flash.png Flash if he hits a pullable target until his target reaches him.
  • Forced action and airborne crowd control effects that affect the target during the grab will stop the grab.[3]
  • Abilities with casting times are not interrupted by Rocket Grab (or any crowd control) and will go off as if Blitzcrank hadn't grabbed them.
    • For skill shots, such as Final Spark.png Final Spark, they will fire from the point of cast regardless of the caster's position when the casting time ends.
    • For dashes and blinks, such as Arcane Shift.png Arcane Shift, the caster will blink to the target location after the casting time regardless of crowd control effects. Blitzcrank's arm will visibly stretch and then fizzle.
  • Contrary to popular belief, you cannot cast Ezreal Ezreal's Arcane Shift.png Arcane Shift during Rocket Grab. However, as of V1.0.0.140, spells cast while disabled will immediately be cast after the effect ends.
  • If Blitzcrank becomes untargetable while pulling a target, the target will continue to be pulled to Blitzcrank's location. This includes Fate's Call.png Fate's Call, where the target will continue to follow Blitzcrank even though he's untargetable.
    • However, if Rocket Grab hits after Blitzcrank becomes untargetable, the target will be pulled to the location where Blitzcrank was last targetable.

COST: 75 mana

Active: Blitzcrank puts himself into overdrive, gaining bonus attack speed for 5 seconds and bonus movement speed that decays to 10% over the duration.

  • Movement Speed: 70 / 75 / 80 / 85 / 90%
  • Attack Speed: 30 / 38 / 46 / 54 / 62%

When Overdrive ends, Blitzcrank is Slow icon slowed by 30% for 1.5 seconds.

Ability Details
Overdrive is a self-targeted buff.

Additional Information:

  • Overdrive has no casting time and does not interrupt Blitzcrank's previous orders.
  • The self slow appears to be affected by Slow Resist and Tenacity.

Power Fist

Power Fist

Active: Blitzcrank's next basic attack deals 100% AD bonus physical damage and Airborne icon knocks up his target for 1 second.

Power Fist resets Blitzcrank's autoattack timer.

Ability Details
Power Fist is an on-hit effect that damages and knocks up the target.
  • The triggering attack will apply other on-hit effects and can critically strike as normal.
    • As with most on-hit physical damage, the bonus damage from Power Fist will apply life steal.
    • Critical strikes will not interact with Power Fist's damage.
    • Power Fist bonus damage will affect structures.
    • Riposte.png Riposte will block the damage and knockup of Power Fist.
    • Power Fist's damage will be mitigated if Blitzcrank's attack is Counter Strike.png dodged, Aegis Protection.png blocked or if his attack misses, but it will still knock his target up.
  • Banshee's Veil item.png Spell shields will block the on-hit effect.

Additional Information:

  • Power Fist's cooldown timer does not begin until the buff is either used or expires.

Static Field

Static Field

Passive: While Static Field is not on cooldown, Blitzcrank fires a lightning bolt at a random nearby visible enemy every 2.5 seconds, dealing magic damage.

  • Bolt Magic Damage: 100 / 200 / 300 (+ 20% AP)

Active: Blitzcrank detonates his static field, dealing magic damage to nearby enemies and Silence icon silencing them for 0.5 seconds.

  • Detonation Magic Damage: 250 / 375 / 500 (+ 100% AP)
Ability Details
Static Field's passive is an auto-targeting area of effect.

Static Field's active is a point blank area of effect.

Additional Information:

  • Static Field's passive cannot target stealthed enemy champions.
  • Static Field's passive can target and hit enemy units in the Fog of War.
  • While Blitzcrank is within brush, Static Field's passive can still target and damage enemy units outside the brush. Enemies will see the lightning bolt visual effect, but Blitzcrank is not revealed.
