Combat status affects abilities, runes, items and buffs. You may be either in-combat or out-of-combat.



  • AniviaSquare Anivia's Crystallize Crystallize - Triggers in-combat effects.
  • AnnieSquare Annie's Summon- Tibbers Summon Tibbers - While out-of-combat for at least 5 seconds, Tibbers gains bonus movement speed when moving toward Annie and regenerates 6% maximum health per second.
  • BardSquare Bard's Tempered Fate Tempered Fate - Triggers in-combat effects.
  • EvelynnSquare Evelynn's Demon Shade Demon Shade: Innate: Evelynn gains Demon Shade after not taking damage from enemy champions or turrets for 1.5 seconds, or after 4 seconds of basic attacking or casting an ability.
    Demon Shade: While below 250 - 590 (based on level) (+ 250% AP) health, Evelynn Heal power restores 15 - 75 (based on level) health every second. From level 6 onward, Demon Shade also grants Ambush 2 camouflage.
  • NunuSquare Nunu's Consume Consume - Casting Consume on a large monster grants Nunu a Well Fed stack, granting him 10 out-of-combat bonus movement speed, 2% maximum health, and increased size, stacking up to 5 times for a maximum 50 out-of-combat bonus movement speed and 10% maximum health.
  • RengarSquare Rengar's Unseen Predator Unseen Predator - Ferocity: Rengar generates 1 Ferocity whenever he casts a basic ability. Upon reaching 4 Ferocity, his next basic ability is empowered, can be cast independently of its basic version's cooldown, incurs no cooldown of its own, grants Rengar 30 / 40 / 50% bonus movement speed for 1.5 seconds, and consumes all of his Ferocity. All Ferocity is lost after being out-of-combat for 7 seconds.
  • TaliyahSquare Taliyah's Rock Surfing Rock Surfing: Innate: Taliyah gains up to 30% - 45% (based on level) bonus movement speed by moving near terrain or structures, which builds up over 1 second and decays over 1 second upon moving out of range
    Entering combat disables Rock Surfing and places it on a 2 second cooldown. This cooldown is continuously refreshed while Taliyah remains in-combat. Activating a damage ability will reset the timer.
  • TrundleSquare Trundle's Pillar of Ice Pillar of Ice - Triggers in-combat effects.
  • YorickSquare Yorick's Dark Procession Dark Procession - Triggers in-combat effects.
  • YorickSquare Yorick's Shepherd of Souls Shepherd of Souls - Mist Walkers will proceed down the lane once they enter combat in that lane, and their health will decay if they move too far from either Yorick or the Eulogy of the Isles Maiden of the Mist.
  • ZileanSquare Zilean's Time in a Bottle Time in a Bottle - Choosing a target for leveling up can only be used out-of-combat.
  • ZileanSquare Zilean's Time Bomb Time Bomb - Placing it triggers in-combat effects.



  • Rift HeraldSquare Rift Herald: After three seconds into combat, the eye on its back will open. Champion Attacks against the eye deal 12% of Herald's maximum health as bonus true damage, causing the eye to close for ~3 seconds.
  • Cloud DrakeSquare Cloud Drake: + 2 / 4 / 6% bonus movement speed, tripled to 6 / 12 / 18% while out-of-combat. +100% while having Aspect of the Dragon buff Aspect of the Dragon; + 4 / 8 / 12% bonus movement speed, tripled to 12 / 24 / 36% while out-of-combat.
