Perseverance
Perseverance

Innate: Garen regenerates 「 0.2 / 0.4 / 1% maximum health every half-second 」「 2 / 4 / 10% maximum health every 5 seconds 」 if he has not taken non-minion damage in the last 9 / 6 / 4 seconds.

At level 11, damage from non-epic monsters will no longer stop Perseverance.

At level 16, Perseverance's power is increased significantly.

Ability Details
Perseverance is a self-buff.


Decisive Strike
COOLDOWN: 8
Decisive Strike

Active: Garen cleanses himself of all Slow icon slows affecting him and gains 30% bonus movement speed for a few seconds.

  • Duration: 1.5 / 2 / 2.5 / 3 / 3.5

Additionally, his next basic attack within 4.5 seconds deals additional physical damage, Silence icon silences his target for 1.5 seconds and Slow icon slows his target for 0.5 seconds.

  • Bonus Physical Damage: 30 / 55 / 80 / 105 / 130 (+ 40% AD)

Decisive Strike resets Garen's autoattack timer.

Ability Details
Decisive Strike is a self-buff that applies an on-hit effect.

Additional Information:

  • Decisive Strike has no cast time and does not interrupt Garen's previous orders.
    • The on-hit effect and the bonus movement speed are independent (Garen can silence his target and the bonus movement speed will remain, duration permitting)


Courage

Courage

Passive: Garen permanently gains 0.25 bonus armor and magic resistance every time he kills an enemy unit, up to a maximum of 30 bonus resistances.

Active: Garen reduces incoming damage by 30% for a few seconds.

  • Duration: 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6
Ability Details
  • Courage's passive is a defensive self-buff.
  • Courage's active is both a defensive and a utility self-buff.

Additional Information:

  • Courage has no cast time and does not interrupt Garen's previous orders.
  • Garen needs to kill 120 enemy units to gain the maximum bonus resistances once Courage is ranked up at least once.
    • Courage's passive is retroactive.
  • Courage's active does not reduce true damage.


Judgment

Judgment

Active: Garen rapidly spins his sword around his body for 3 seconds.

For the duration, Garen cannot basic attack, is Ghost ghosted and deals physical damage 「 in 5 - 10 (based on level) spins 」「 every 0.6 - 0.3 (based on level) seconds 」 to enemies within range, increased by 33.3% when damaging a single enemy.

「 Physical Damage Per Spin: 15 / 18.8 / 22.5 / 26.3 / 30 (+ 34.5 / 35.3 / 36 / 36.8 / 37.5% AD) 」「 Enhanced Physical Damage Per Spin: 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 (+ 46 / 47 / 48 / 49 / 50% AD) 」

Judgment can Critical strike icon critically strike, dealing 50% (+ 100% bonus critical damage) bonus damage.

After 1 second, Garen can Judgment 2 reactivate Judgment to cancel it immediately, reducing its cooldown by its remaining duration.

Ability Details
Judgment is a point-blank, area-of-effect ability.

Additional Information:

  • Judgment is not a channeled ability so crowd control effects will not interrupting.
    • Silencing Garen will prevent him from reactivating it early.
  • Garen will benefit from Decisive Strike.png Decisive Strike's slow removal and bonus movement speed while Judgment is active.
    • He will not be able to apply its on-hit silence or bonus damage since he cannot basic attack over Judgment's duration.
  • Garen may cast Demacian Justice.png Demacian Justice while Judgment is active but it will stop ticking if so.


Demacian Justice

Demacian Justice

Passive: The enemy with the most kills in the last 5 minutes is marked as the Villain. The mark cannot be assigned to another champion while Garen is in combat with the Villain. If more than one enemy has the same bounty, the enemy who received it first is marked as the Villain.

Garen's basic attacks and each spin of Judgment.png Judgment against the Villain deal 1% of their maximum health as bonus true damage.

Active: Garen calls upon the might of Demacia to attempt to execute the target enemy champion, dealing them magic damage, converted to true damage when targeting the Villain.

  • Magic Damage: 175 / 350 / 525 (+ 28.6 / 33.3 / 40% of target's missing health)
Ability Details
Demacian Justice is a single-targeted ability.

Additional Information:

  • The tooltip displays damage values as simple digits rather than percentages (deals 1 additional damage per 3.5 / 3 / 2.5 target's missing health)
  • Kills against Garen will not be considered when determining the Villain.
  • Villains that can be executed by this spell, will have their Villain icon highlighted.
