Gold per 10, often inaccurately referred to as gold per 5, refers to the amount of gold generated passively every ten seconds. In Classic (Summoner's Rift/Twisted Treeline) the champion passively earns 16 gold per 10 seconds, in Dominion the passive gold gain is 56 gold per 10 seconds. It has been found that when combining all the possible extra sources of gold generation in addition to the base generation rate, the overall result is 35.25 gold per 10 seconds, or about 3.5 gold generated every second on classic, and 75.25 gold per 10, or about 7.5 gold per second on dominion. Calculations for maximum gold per 10 are as follows.

Base gold gain (depending on game mode) +  Philosopher's Stone +  Kage's Lucky Pick/ Shard of True Ice (same unique passive, doesn't stack) +  Avarice Blade +  Greed (maxed) + Greater Quintessence of Avarice (1x3=3) + Greater Seal of Avarice (0.25x9=2.25)

For Classic: 16 + 5 + 4 + 3 + 2 + 3 + 2.25 = 35.25 Gold/10

For Dominion: 56 + 5 + 4 + 3 + 2 + 3 +2.25 = 75.25 Gold/10
