The actual healing effect from regeneration is applied every half-second, not every 5 seconds.

Increasing health regeneration

Items

  • Aegis of the Legion: Unique Aura - Legion: Nearby allies gain 20 magic resist and 10 health regeneration. +200 health, +20 magic resist. 1900 gold.
  • Doran's Shield: +6 health regeneration, +80 health. Unique Passive: Blocks 8 damage from champion basic attacks. 440 gold.
  • Face of the Mountain: +20 health regeneration, +500 health, +10% cooldown reduction. Unique Passive - Spoils of War: Melee autoattacks execute minions below 200 (+100% AD) health. Killing a minion by any means heals yourself and the nearest allied champion for 50 (+1% of your maximum health) health and grants them gold equal to the kill. These effects require a nearby allied champion and consume a charge. Recharges every 30 seconds for a maximum of 4 charges. Unique Active - Deadly Phalanx: Shields target ally for (10% of your maximum health) for 4 seconds. After 4 seconds, the shield explodes, dealing magic damage equal to (100% of the target's AD) + (30% of the target's AP), regardless of if the shield remained intact (60 second cooldown). You may only be in possession of 1 Gold Income item. 2200 gold.
  • Locket of the Iron Solari: Unique Aura - Legion: Nearby allies gain 20 magic resist and 10 health regeneration. +400 health, +20 magic resist, +10% cooldown reduction. Unique Active: Grants a shield to nearby allies for 5 seconds that absorbs up to 50 (+10 per level) damage (60 second cooldown). 2550 gold.
  • Nomad's Medallion: +5 health regeneration, +7 mana regeneration, +2 gold generation. Unique Passive - Favor: Being near a minion death without dealing the killing blow grants 3 gold and 5 health. You may only be in possession of 1 Gold Income item. 865 gold.
  • Ravenous Hydra: +15 health regeneration, +75 attack damage, +12% life steal. Passive: Damage dealt by this item works with life steal. Unique Passive: Your attacks deal up to 60% of your attack damage to units around your target, decaying down to 20% near the edge. Unique Active: Deals up to 100% of your attack damage to units around you, decaying down to 60% near the edge. 10 second cooldown. 3300 gold.
  • Rejuvenation Bead: +5 health regeneration. 180 gold.
  • Spectre's Cowl: Unique Passive: Grants 15 health regeneration for 10 seconds after taking damage from an enemy champion, +200 health, +45 magic resistance. 1400 gold.
  • Talisman of Ascension: +10 health regeneration, +15 mana regeneration, +20% cooldown reduction, +2 gold generation. Unique Passive - Favor: Being near a minion death without dealing the killing blow grants 3 gold and 10 health. Unique Active: Nearby champions gain 40% movement speed for 3 seconds (60 second cooldown). You may only be in possession of 1 Gold Income item. 2200 gold.
  • Targon's Brace: +8 health regeneration, +175 health. Unique Passive - Spoils of War: Melee autoattacks execute minions below 200 health. Killing a minion by any means heals yourself and the nearest allied champion for 50 health and grants them gold equal to the kill. These effects require a nearby allied champion and consume a charge. Recharges every 30 seconds for a maximum of 3 charges. You may only be in possession of 1 Gold Income item. 865 gold.
  • Spirit Visage: +20 health regeneration, Unique Passive: Increases your self-healing, health regen, life steal and spell vamp by 20%, +400 health, +55 magic resistance, +10% cooldown reduction. 2750 gold.
  • Tiamat: +15 health regeneration, +40 attack damage. Unique Passive: Your attacks deal up to 60% of your Attack Damage to units around your target, decaying down to 20% near the edge. Unique Active: Deals up to 100% of your Attack Damage to units around you, decaying down to 60% near the edge. 10 second cooldown. 1900 gold.

Variable Availability

  • STH Banshee's Veil: Unique Passive: Grants 45 health regeneration for 10 seconds after taking damage from an enemy champion, +450 health, +55 magic resistance. Unique Passive: Grants a spell shield that blocks the next enemy ability. This shield refreshes after no damage is taken from enemy champions for 25 seconds. 2750 gold.
  • C Guardian's Horn: +12 health regeneration, +180 health. Unique Passive: Nearby enemy spell casts reduce the cooldown of Battle Cry by 1 second. Unique - Battle Cry: Gain 30% movement speed, 20 armor and 20 magic resistance for 3 seconds. 25 second cooldown. 1025 gold.
  • H Orb of Winter: +20 health regeneration, +70 magic resistance. Unique: Grants a shield that absorbs up to 30 + (10 per level) damage. This shield refreshes after no damage is taken from enemy champions for 9 seconds. 2080 gold.
  • S Warmog's Armor: Unique Passive: Restores 1% of your maximum Health every 5 seconds. +1000 health. 2830 gold.

Champion abilities

  •  Dr. Mundo's  Adrenaline Rush regenerates 0.3% of his maximum health each second.
  •  Dr. Mundo's  Sadism causes him to regenerate 40 / 50 / 60% of his max health over 12 seconds.
  •  Fiora's  Duelist grants Fiora 5.83 + (0.83 × level) health regeneration for 6 seconds each time she deals physical damage. Striking champions will cause this effect to stack up to 4 times.
  •  Garen's  Perseverance allows him to regenerate 0.4% of his maximum health per second after not taking damage (excluding minions) for 9 seconds.
  •  Heimerdinger's  Techmaturgical Repair Bots increases the health regeneration of nearby evolution turrets and allied champions by 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30.
  •  Master Yi's  Meditate increases his health regeneration by 150 / 250 / 350 / 450 / 550 (+1.5 AP) for the duration. The healing effect is increased by 1% for every 1% of his missing health.
  •  Shen's  Vorpal Blade marks its target for 5 seconds; champions who damage the marked target gain 10 / 16.67 / 23.33 / 30 / 36.67 (+2.5% of Shen's maximum health) health regeneration for 3 seconds.  Shen heals instantly for 1/3 of the total health regenerated instead if he kills a target with  Vorpal Blade.
  •  Singed's  Insanity Potion increases his health regeneration by 35 / 50 / 65 for 25 seconds.
  •  Viktor's  Augment: Power grants him 6 health regeneration.
  •  Vladimir's  Tides of Blood increases his healing and regeneration by 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8%. This buff lasts for 10 seconds and stacks up to 4 times.
  •  Volibear's  Chosen of the Storm can regenerate 30% of his maximum health over 6 seconds once every two minutes when his health drops below 30%.

Masteries

  • Strength of Spirit increases health regeneration by 1 for every 300 mana you have.
  • Recovery increases health regeneration by 1 / 2.
  • Perseverance heals for 0.35 / 0.675 / 1% of your missing health every 5 seconds.
  • Second Wind increases healing and regeneration by 10% when you are below 25% health.

Notes

  • Spirit Visage,  Vladimir's  Tides of Blood, and  Trundle's  Frozen Domain increases the effectiveness of all sources of health regeneration (champions stats, abilities, buffs, items, runes, & masteries).
  • Health regeneration stacks additively and has no cap.
  • Healing reduction effects reduce the effectiveness of regeneration. Such effects do not stack, though they will refresh the duration. All such effects (except Crystal Scar's Aura) halve the effectiveness of healing, health regeneration, life steal, and spell vamp. See Healing for more information.
