Health Regeneration (also known as HP5) is a statistic similar to Mana Regeneration which determines the amount of health a champion regenerates over a five-second period. This happens in half-second intervals. Health regeneration is considered to be a form of healing for the purposes of healing increases or decreases, and for the sake of the "Healing Done" stat at the end of game screen. Each champion starts with a certain base rate of health regeneration, which increases by a small amount at each level-up. It can be further increased by a variety of items, abilities, masteries, runes and neutral buffs, as detailed below. Health regeneration stacks additively, meaning that each bonus point acquired directly affects its statistic. This is true whether the bonus is a flat value or percentage-based.

Unique Passive – Spoils of War: Melee basic attacks execute minions below 400 + (100% AD) health.   • S Ohmwrecker item.png Ohmwrecker: +150% base health regeneration, +300 health, +50 armor, +10% cooldown reduction. Unique Active: Prevents the closest enemy tower from attacking for 3 seconds (120 second cooldown). This effect cannot be used against the same tower more than once every 8 seconds.   • Garen Garen's Perseverance.png Perseverance allows him to regenerate 0.4 / 0.8 / 2.0% of his maximum health per second after not taking damage (excluding minions) for 9 / 6 / 4 seconds.
  • Heimerdinger Heimerdinger's Techmaturgical Repair Bots.png Techmaturgical Repair Bots increases the health regeneration of nearby evolution turrets and allied champions by 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30.
  • Master Yi Master Yi's Meditate.png Meditate restores 30 / 50 / 70 / 90 / 110 + (30% AP) health per second for up to 4 seconds. The healing effect is increased by 1% for every 1% of his missing health.
  • Singed Singed's Insanity Potion.png Insanity Potion increases his health regeneration by 35 / 50 / 80 for 25 seconds.
  • Vladimir Vladimir's Tides of Blood.png Tides of Blood increases his healing and regeneration by 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8%. This buff lasts for 10 seconds and stacks up to 4 times.
  • Volibear Volibear's Chosen of the Storm.png Chosen of the Storm can regenerate 30% of his maximum health over 6 seconds once every two minutes when his health drops below 30%.

  • Recovery mastery s4.png Recovery grants 0.4 / 0.8 / 1.2 / 1.6 / 2 health regeneration.
  • Adaptive Armor mastery s4.png Runic Armor grants 1.6 / 3.2 / 4.8 / 6.4 / 8% stronger shields, healing, health regeneration, and lifesteal on you.
