Health Regeneration is a Champion statistic that defines the rate at which health is naturally restored over time. Health Regeneration is measured in-game by a stat called HP5 (Health Per 5 seconds). HP5 describes how many hit points are restored in a 5-second window. The actual healing effect from regeneration is applied every half-second, not every 5 seconds. This stat is similar to Mana Regeneration, although health regenerates more slowly than mana. Health regenerated over time is considered to be a form of healing for the purposes of healing increases or decreases, and for the sake of the "Healing Done" stat at the end of game screen. There are many items, abilities, and buffs which can increase HP5 either permanently or temporarily.

These effects require a nearby allied champion and consume a charge. Recharges every 30 seconds for a maximum of 4 charges. Unique Active: Shield target ally for 10% of your maximum health for 4 seconds. After 4 seconds, the shield explodes, dealing (100% of the target's AD) + (30% of the target's AP) magic damage, regardless of if the shield remained intact (60 second cooldown). You may only be in possession of 1 Gold Income item. 2200 Gold.
  • Locket of the Iron Solari item.png Locket of the Iron Solari: +100% base health regen, +400 health, +20 magic resistance, +10% cooldown reduction. Unique Aura – Legion: Grants nearby allies +15 magic resistance. Unique Active: Shield yourself and nearby allies for 5 seconds, absorbing up to 50 + (10 × level) damage (60 second cooldown). 2750 Gold.
  • Nomad's Medallion item.png Nomad's Medallion: +25% base health regeneration, +50% base mana regeneration, +10 movement speed, +2 gold per 10 seconds. Unique Passive – Favor: Grants 4 gold and restores 10 health each time a nearby enemy minion dies that you didn't kill. You may only be in possession of 1 Gold Income item. 865 Gold.
  • Ravenous Hydra item.png Ravenous Hydra: +100% base health regeneration, +75 attack damage, +12% life steal. Passive: Life steal applies to damage dealt by this item. Unique Passive – Cleave: Basic attacks deal 20% to 60% of your attack damage to units around your target – (20% AD near the edge). Unique Active – Crescent: Deals 60% to 100% of your attack damage to units around you – (60% AD near the edge) (10 second cooldown). 3300 Gold.
  • Rejuvenation Bead item.png Rejuvenation Bead: +50% base health regeneration. 180 Gold.
  • Righteous Glory item.png Righteous Glory: +100% base health regeneration, +500 health, +300 mana. Unique Active: Grants +60% movement speed to nearby allies when moving towards ennemies or enemy turrets for 3 seconds. After 3 seconds, a shockwave is emitted, slowing nearby enemy champion movement speed by 80% for 1 second. This effect may be reactivated early to instantly release the shockwave (90 second cooldown). 2400 Gold.
  • Rod of Ages item.png Rod of Ages: Unique Passive – Valor's Reward: Upon leveling up, restores 150 health and 200 mana over 8 seconds. +60 ability power, +300 health, +400 mana.   • Talisman of Ascension item.png Talisman of Ascension: +100% base health regeneration, +100% base mana regeneration, +20 movement speed, +10% cooldown reduction, +2 gold per 10 seconds. Unique Passive – Favor: Grants 4 gold and restores 10 health each time a nearby enemy minion dies that you didn't kill. Unique Active: Grants nearby allies +40% movement speed for 3 seconds (40 second cooldown) (600 range). You may only be in possession of 1 Gold Income item. 2100 Gold.
  • Reaper's Emblem item.jpg Targon's Brace: +50% base health regeneration, +175 health. Unique Passive – Spoils of War: Melee autoattacks execute minions below 240 + (100% AD) health. Killing a minion by any means heals yourself and the nearest allied champion for 50 health and grants them kill gold. These effects require a nearby allied champion and consume a charge. Recharges every 30 seconds for a maximum of 3 charges. You may only be in possession of 1 Gold Income item. 865 Gold.
  • Spirit Visage item.png Spirit Visage: +150% base health regeneration. Unique Passive: Increases effectiveness of all sources of healing including self-healing, health regen, life steal and spell vamp by 20%. +400 health, +60 magic resistance, +10% cooldown reduction. 2700 Gold.
  • Tiamat item.png Tiamat: +100% base health regeneration, +40 attack damage. Unique Passive – Cleave: Basic attacks deal 20% to 60% of your attack damage to units around your target – (20% AD near the edge). Unique Active – Crescent: Deals 60% to 100% of your attack damage to units around you – (60% AD near the edge) (10 second cooldown). 1900 Gold.
  • Titanic Hydra item.png Titanic Hydra: +100% base health regeneration, +400 health, +50 attack damage. Unique Passive – Cleave: Basic attacks deal 5 + (1% of your maximum health) as bonus physical damage to your target and 40 + (2.5% of your maximum health) as physical damage to other enemies in a cone on hit. Unique Active – Crescent: Cleave damage to all targets is increased to 40 + (10% of your maximum health) as bonus physical damage in a larger cone for your next basic attack (20 second cooldown). 3300 Gold.

  • STH Banshee's Veil item.png Banshee's Veil: +100% base health regeneration, +450 health, +60 magic resistance. Unique Passive: Grants a spell shield that blocks the next enemy ability. This shield refreshes after no damage is taken from enemy champions for 40 seconds. 2700 Gold.
  • H Guardian's Horn item.png Guardian's Horn: +125% base health regeneration, +200 health. Unique Passive: Nearby enemy spellcasts reduce the cooldown of Battle Cry by 1 second. Unique Active – Battle Cry: Gain 30% movement speed, 20 armor and 20 magic resistance for 3 seconds (25 second cooldown). 1015 Gold.
  • ST Hunter's Machete item.png Hunter's Machete: Passive – Jungler: Gain 7 health per second while under attack from neutral monster, 3 mana per second, and deal 30 magic damage on hit to monsters over 2 seconds. +15 bonus gold per large monster kill. 400 Gold.
  • S Ohmwrecker item.png Ohmwrecker: +150% base health regen, +300 health, +50 armor, +10% cooldown reduction. Unique Active: Prevents the closest enemy tower from attacking for 3 seconds (120 second cooldown). This effect cannot be used against the same tower more than once every 8 seconds. Unique Passive – Point Runner: Build up to +20% movement speed over 2 second while near turrets and fallen turrets. 2600 Gold.
  • H Orb of Winter item.png Orb of Winter: +100% base health regeneration, +70 magic resistance. Unique Passive: Grants a shield that absorbs up to 30 + (10 × level) damage. The shield will refresh after 9 seconds without receiving damage. 2150 Gold.
  • TC Overlord's Bloodmail item.png Overlord's Bloodmail: +100% base health regeneration. Unique Passive: Upon champion kill or assist, restores 300 health over 5 seconds. +800 health. 2500 Gold.
  • ST Poacher's Knife item.png Poacher's Knife: Passive – Jungler: Gain 10 health per second while under attack from neutral monster, 5 mana per second, and deal 45 magic damage on hit to monsters over 2 seconds. +30 bonus gold per large monster kill. Passive – Scavenging Smite: When you smite a large monster in the enemy jungle, you gain half a charge of smite. If you kill that monster, you gain +20 bonus gold, and you gain 175% increased movement speed decaying over 2 seconds. 850 Gold.
  • S Raptor Cloak item.png Raptor Cloak: +150% base health regen, +40 armor. Unique Passive – Point Runner: Build up to +20% movement speed over 2 second while near turrets and fallen turrets. 1100 Gold.
  • ST Ranger's Trailblazer item.png Ranger's Trailblazer: Passive – Jungler: Gain 10 health per second while under attack from neutral monster, 5 mana per second, and deal 45 magic damage on hit to monsters over 2 seconds. +30 bonus gold per large monster kill. Passive – Blasting Smite: Smite deals damage in an area, dealing half damage to all monsters and enemy minions near the target and stuns them for 1.5 seconds. Casting smite on a monster restores 15% of missing health and mana. 850 Gold.
  • ST Skirmisher's Sabre item.png Skirmisher's Sabre: Passive – Jungler: Gain 10 health per second while under attack from neutral monster, 5 mana per second, and deal 45 magic damage on hit to monsters over 2 seconds. +30 bonus gold per large monster kill. Passive – Challenging Smite: Smite can be cast on enemy champions, marking them for 6 seconds. While marked, basic attacks deal true damage over 3 seconds, you have vision on them, and their damage to you is reduced by 20%. 850 Gold.
  • ST Stalker's Blade item.png Stalker's Blade: Passive – Jungler: Gain 10 health per second while under attack from neutral monster, 5 mana per second, and deal 45 magic damage on hit to monsters over 2 seconds. +30 bonus gold per large monster kill. Passive – Chilling Smite: Smite can be cast on enemy champions, dealing reduced true damage and stealing 20% movement speed for 2 seconds. 850 Gold.

  • GarenSquare.png Garen's Perseverance.png Perseverance allows him to regenerate 0.4 / 0.8 / 2.0% of his maximum health per second after not taking damage (excluding minions) for 9 / 6 / 4 seconds.
  • HeimerdingerSquare.png Heimerdinger's Techmaturgical Repair Bots.png Techmaturgical Repair Bots increases the health regeneration of nearby evolution turrets and allied champions by 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30.
  • MasterYiSquare.png Master Yi's Meditate.png Meditate restores 30 / 50 / 70 / 90 / 110 + (30% AP) health per second for up to 4 secondsn. The healing effect is increased by 1% for every 1% of his missing health.
  • ShenSquare.png Shen's Vorpal Blade.png Vorpal Blade marks its target for 5 seconds; champions who damage the marked target heal for 6 / 10 / 14 / 18 / 22 + (1.5% of Shen's maximum health) over 3 seconds.   • VladimirSquare.png Vladimir's Tides of Blood.png Tides of Blood increases his healing and regeneration by 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8%. This buff lasts for 10 seconds and stacks up to 4 times.
  • VolibearSquare.png Volibear's Chosen of the Storm.png Chosen of the Storm can regenerate 30% of his maximum health over 6 seconds once every two minutes when his health drops below 30%.

Masteries

  • Strength of Spirit mastery s4.png Strength of Spirit increases health regeneration by 1 for every 300 mana you have.
  • Recovery mastery s4.png Recovery increases health regeneration by 1 / 2.
  • Perseverance mastery s4.png Perseverance heals for 0.35 / 0.675 / 1% of your missing health every 5 seconds.
  • Second Wind mastery s4.png Second Wind increases healing and regeneration by 10% when you are below 25% health.
