Prophet of an Elder God

Innate: Illaoi periodically spawns a Prophet of an Elder God.png Tentacle on nearby impassable terrain if none are nearby, which remains on the battlefield until killed or when disabled for 60 seconds.

Additional Information:

  • Prophet of an Elder God.png Tentacles do not spawn in the Nexus Obelisk's attack range.
  • If Illaoi uses Harsh Lesson.png Harsh Lesson on a target while a Tentacle is spawning, the SFX of the Tentacle attacking will be heard even if the Tentacle hasn't finished spawning and thus won't attack.
  • If Illaoi dances, awaken tentacles will dance as well.
  • Sometimes when Illaoi dances while a Tentacle is spawning it will result in a weird VFX bug causing the Tentacle to glow.
  • If Illaoi spams the dance command and moves, Tentacles' SFX will keep on adding on top of the previous SFX, infinitely.

Harsh Lesson resets Illaoi's autoattack timer.

Test of Spirit

Active: Illaoi sends a tendril in the target direction that stops at the first enemy hit. If the enemy is a champion, the tendril pulls their Spirit, places it in front of her and tethers it to them, granting True Sight icon true sight of them while it remains.

The Spirit has the target's current health and lasts for 10 seconds, reduced by 1 second each time Illaoi receives damage from the target. During this time, the Spirit can be attacked by Illaoi and her allies, inflicting a portion of the damage it receives upon its tethered champion.

Damage Transmission:
25 / 30 / 35 / 40 / 45% (+ 8% per 100 AD)

The tether is severed if the Spirit is killed or when the target moves too far away, Slow icon slowing them by 80% for 1.5 seconds, and marking them as a Vessel.png Vessel, causing them to spawn a Prophet of an Elder God.png Tentacle every 5 / 4 / 3 seconds for the next 12 seconds.

Ability Details
Test of Spirit is a linear, collision skillshot, yet it cannot be seen leaving the bush by the enemy team, when they don't have vision on it (possible bug).

Additional Information:

  • Test of Spirit can pass through terrain.
  • Each instance of the target's periodic damage versus Illaoi will reduce the Spirit's duration.
  • The Black Cleaver item.png The Black Cleaver does not reduce the spirit's armor.
  • The enemy champion and the Spirit each calculate their damage taken individually based on their own respective resistances.
    • Due to the potential for the Spirit or the target to have their resistances reduced independent of each other - the visual damage taken may not match expectations.
    • True damage redirected to the target will be reduced by Test of Spirit.
  • Damage transferred to the target will only apply damage-type specific effects such as The Black Cleaver item.png The Black Cleaver, Morellonomicon item.png Morellonomicon, Executioner's Calling item.png Executioner's Calling, or the healing from Death's Dance item.png Death's Dance / Hextech Gunblade item.png Hextech Gunblade, determined by who dealt the damage.
    • It will not trigger on-hit effects or spell effects versus the target (Deathfire Touch mastery 2016.png Deathfire Touch, Wit's End item.png Wit's End) although the damage of those effects dealt to the Spirit will be transferred.
    • Spirits are classified as Revenants for targeting purposes, and will intercept Ace in the Hole.png Ace in the Hole, be executed by Spoils of War, nor can they be Smite.png Smited.
  • Even towers, minions, and neutral monsters can attack Spirits.
  • Spirits are counted as champions for the purposes of Leap of Faith, so it will summon another Tentacle for a Vessel hit.
  • Sometimes, when the spirit has low hp, attacks will no longer reflect damage based on your damage dealt but will deal half of the spirit's current hp (possible bug)

Leap of Faith

Active: Illaoi leaps into the air before slamming her idol into the ground, dealing physical damage to all nearby enemies.

Physical Damage:
150 / 250 / 350 (+ 50% bonus AD)

Leap of Faith summons a Prophet of an Elder God.png Tentacle for every enemy champion and Test of Spirit.png Spirit hit, which lasts for 8 seconds, during which Harsh Lesson.png Harsh Lesson's cooldown is also reduced to 2 - 1.1 (based on cooldown reduction) seconds. For the duration, all Prophet of an Elder God.png Tentacles awaken by Illaoi (and not by a vessel) are untargetable, will not disable if Illaoi moves too far away, and attack 50% faster.

Ability Details
Leap of Faith is a point-blank area of effect.

Additional Information:

  • Illaoi is immune to being Airborne icon displaced while in her cast animation.
  • Spirits are counted as champions for the purposes of Leap of Faith, so it will summon another Tentacle for a Vessel hit.
  • The animation may get bugged if Illaoi moves immediately after using Leap of Faith.


Pets

Control type The Tentacle is commanded to attack each time a target in its range gets hit by Harsh Lesson.png Harsh Lesson.

The Tentacle also automatically attacks the closest target in its range, every 10 seconds (counted after it finishes its first attack), which can be:

Target type Ward, minion, does not count towards the minion kill tracking score
On-hit effects Hits through Counter Strike.png Counter Strike and Aegis Protection.png Aegis Protection.
Spell effects Applies spell effects as an area of effect ability.
Protection
  • Banshee's Veil item.png Spell shields will block the attack.
  • The Tentacle deals「 50% 」「 5 - 90 (based on level) (+ 60% AD) (+ 0 / 5% / 7.5% / 10% / 12.5% / 15%) 」damage to enemies already struck by another Tentacle within the last 0.5 seconds.

Abilities

Slam

The Tentacle damages all non-structure enemies it hits along its length, healing Illaoi for 5% missing health if it hits at least one enemy champion.

Distress

The Tentacle alerts Illaoi whenever it takes damage.

Deactivation

If the Tentacle is too far away from Illaoi or a Vessel.png Vessel, it becomes dormant, reducing itself to 1 health and disappearing after 60 seconds of dormancy. The Tentacle instantly reactivates if Illaoi or a Vessel.png Vessel moves back in range.

Enrage

The Tentacle enrages for 8 seconds after Leap of Faith.png Leap of Faith has been cast, becoming untargetable and swinging 50% faster.
