Prophet of an Elder God
STATIC COOLDOWN: 20 - 12 (based on level)
Prophet of an Elder God

Innate: Illaoi draws the presence of her god, periodically spawning a Prophet of an Elder God.png Tentacle on nearby impassable terrain if none are nearby, lasting until killed or until Illaoi is out of range for 1 minute.

Prophet of an Elder God.png Tentacles are commanded to attack every time a unit is hit by Harsh Lesson.png Harsh Lesson, a Test of Spirit.png Spirit spawns, or an enemy champion becomes a Vessel.png Vessel. Vessel.png Vessels can only cause Prophet of an Elder God.png Tentacles to slam them once.

Once commanded, all Prophet of an Elder God.png Tentacles in range slam toward the target, dealing 10 - 180 (based on level) (+ 120% AD) (+ 10% / 15% / 20% / 25% / 30%) physical damage to all units in a line. Ranks in Tentacle Smash.png Tentacle Smash increase the total damage dealt.

Prophet of an Elder God.png Tentacles hits beyond the first within 0.5 seconds deal only 50% damage. Whenever a Prophet of an Elder God.png Tentacle deals damage to one or more champions, Illaoi restores 5% of her missing health.

Active: Illaoi slams her idol into the ground, briefly summoning a Prophet of an Elder God.png Tentacle that slams down in the target direction.

Harsh Lesson

Active: Illaoi's next basic attack gains bonus range and causes her to dash to her target, dealing bonus physical damage, capped at 300 against non-champions.

  • Bonus Physical Damage: 3 / 3.5 / 4 / 4.5 / 5% (+ 2% per 100 AD) of target's maximum health

Harsh Lesson resets Illaoi's autoattack timer.

Test of Spirit
RANGE: 900

Test of Spirit

Active: Illaoi sends a tendril in the target direction that stops on the first unit hit. If the unit is a champion, the tendril pulls their Spirit, granting True Sight icon true sight of them and placing it in front of Illaoi. The Spirit is connected to the target by a tether.

The Spirit has 100% of their current health and lasts for 10 seconds, reduced by 1 second each time Illaoi receives damage from the target champion. The tether will be severed if the Spirit is killed or when the target moves too far away.

Over the duration, the Spirit can be attacked by Illaoi and her allies. A percentage of the damage dealt to the Spirit is also dealt to the target.

  • Damage Percentage: 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 / 45% (+ 8% per 100 AD)

Severing the tether Slow icon slows the target by 80% for 1.5 seconds, and marks them as a Vessel.png Vessel, causing them to spawn a Prophet of an Elder God.png Tentacle every 5 / 4 / 3 seconds for the next 12 seconds.

Test of Spirit is a linear, collision skillshot.

Additional Information:

  • Each instance of the target's periodic damage versus Illaoi will reduce the Spirit's duration.
  • The enemy champion and the Spirit each calculate their damage taken individually based on their own respective resistances.
    • Due to the potential for the Spirit or the target to have their resistances reduced independent of each other - the visual damage taken may not match expectations.
    • True damage redirected to the target will be reduced by Test of Spirit.
  • Damage transferred to the target will only apply damage-type specific effects such as The Black Cleaver item.png The Black Cleaver, Morellonomicon item.png Morellonomicon, Executioner&#039;s Calling item.png Executioner's Calling, or the healing from Death&#039;s Dance item.png Death's Dance / Hextech Gunblade item.png Hextech Gunblade, determined by who dealt the damage.
    • It will not trigger on-hit effects or spell effects versus the target (Deathfire Touch mastery 2016.png Deathfire Touch, Wit&#039;s End item.png Wit's End) although the damage of those effects dealt to the Spirit will be transferred.
    • Spirits are classified as Revenants for targeting purposes, and will not intercept Ace in the Hole.png Ace in the Hole, be executed by Spoils of War, nor can they be Smite.png Smited.
  • Even towers, minions, and neutral monsters can attack Spirits.
  • Spirits are counted as champions for the purposes of Leap of Faith, so it will summon another Tentacle for a Vessel hit.


Leap of Faith
RANGE: 450
COST: 100 Mana
COOLDOWN: 120 / 105 / 90
Leap of Faith

Active: Illaoi leaps into the air before slamming her idol into the ground, dealing physical damage to all nearby units and summoning a Prophet of an Elder God.png Tentacle lasting 8 seconds for each enemy champion or Spirit hit.

  • Physical Damage: 150 / 250 / 350 (+ 50% bonus AD)

For the next 8 seconds, all Prophet of an Elder God.png Tentacles become untargetable, swing 50% faster, and Harsh Lesson.png Harsh Lesson's base cooldown is reduced to 2 seconds.

Leap of Faith is a point-blank area of effect.

Additional Information:

  • Illaoi is immune to being Airborne icon displaced while in her cast animation.
  • Spirits are counted as champions for the purposes of Leap of Faith, so it will summon another Tentacle for a Vessel hit.

Tentacles will become Dormant if Illaoi or a Vessel.png Vessel is not nearby thus reducing their health to 1. Dormant Tentacles will fade after 60 seconds but will be revitalized if Illaoi or a Vessel.png Vessel returns before then.

When commanded to, Tentacles rear up and then slam into the ground after a brief delay dealing 10 - 180 (based on level) (+120% AD) (+ 10% / 15% / 20% / 25% / 30%) physical damage to all units in a line. The delay is halved during Leap of Faith.png Leap of Faith.
