Martial Cadence

Innate: Jarvan IV's basic attacks deal 8% of target's current health bonus physical damage, capped at 400 damage against non-champions. This effect cannot occur on the same target more than once every few seconds.

Ability Details
Martial Cadence is a passive on-hit effect.
  • The triggering attack will apply other on-hit effects and can Critical strike icon critically strike as normal, as well as apply life steal.
    • The bonus damage will not do any of these and neither will it affect structures.
  • Martial Cadence will not be applied if the attack is Riposte parried, Counter Strike dodged, Aegis Protection blocked, or if it Blind icon misses.
  • Banshee's Veil item.png Spell shields will not block the ability.

Dragon Strike

Dragon Strike

Active: Jarvan IV extends his lance in a straight line, dealing physical damage to all enemies it passes through and reducing their armor for 3 seconds.

Physical Damage:
80 / 120 / 160 / 200 / 240 (+ 120% bonus AD)
Armor Reduction:
10 / 14 / 18 / 22 / 26% of target's armor

If the lance connects with a deployed Demacian Standard Demacian Standard, Jarvan IV dashes to it, Airborne icon knocking up nearby enemies along his path for 0.75 seconds.

Ability Details
Dragon Strike is a pass-through, linear skillshot.

Additional Information:

  • Dragon Strike's damage will not benefit from its own armor reduction.
  • Dragon Strike will still pull Jarvan IV to his Demacian Standard Demacian Standard if he is immobilized but he will remain as such when he reaches his destination (duration permitting).

Golden Aegis
COST: 30 Mana
Golden Aegis

Active: Jarvan IV Slow icon slows all nearby enemies for 2 seconds.

15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 35%

Jarvan IV also shields himself for 5 seconds, increasing in strength for each enemy champion hit by Golden Aegis.

Bonus Shield Per Champion:
2 / 2.25 / 2.5 / 2.75 / 3% of Jarvan IV's maximum health
Ability Details
Golden Aegis is a point-blank, area-of-effect slow with a self-targeted shield.

Additional Information:

  • Golden Aegis has no cast time and will not interrupt Jarvan IV's previous orders.

Demacian Standard

Passive: Jarvan IV permanently has bonus attack speed.

Bonus Attack Speed:
15 / 17.5 / 20 / 22.5 / 25%

Active: Jarvan IV throws a Demacian flag to the target location, dealing magic damage to all nearby enemies.

Magic Damage:
60 / 105 / 150 / 195 / 240 (+ 80% AP)

The flag then remains for 8 seconds, granting Sight icon sight around it and providing an aura that grants Demacian Standard's bonus attack speed to all nearby allied champions.

Ability Details
Demacian Standard is a ground-targeted area of effect.

Additional Information:

  • The bonus attack speed from Demacian Standard's aura will apply to Jarvan IV and stack with its passive's.
  • Demacian Standard can be targeted by allied minion-targetable abilities (Teleport Teleport, Safeguard Safeguard)
  • Even though the Demacian Standard has a finite amount of health it is both untargetable to enemy basic attacks as well as immune to area-of-effect damage.
    • This makes it effectively invincible and indestructible.

Active: Jarvan IV leaps Unstoppable icon unstoppably to an enemy champion and deals physical damage to all nearby enemies upon arrival.

Physical Damage:
200 / 325 / 450 (+ 150% bonus AD)

Upon impact, he creates a circle of impassable terrain for 3.5 seconds that grants Sight icon sight around it. Jarvan IV can reactivate Cataclysm to instantly destroy the circle.

Ability Details
Cataclysm is a single-targeted dash that creates impassable terrain around Jarvan IV wherever he lands.

Additional Information:

  • Cataclysm will not deal damage, generate terrain, or refund its cooldown if Jarvan IV is killed mid-leap.
  • Cataclysm does not track targets who change their location with dash abilities or with Flash Flash.
  • Abilities that interact with terrain (Heroic Charge Heroic Charge, Condemn Condemn) can do so with Cataclysm's ring.
