Strategy
- Champions that need to quickly escape team fights or, vice versa, chase down escaping enemy team members will greatly benefit from the tenacity/speed bonuses. Escapees will lower the risk of being pinned or killed by enemy slow or snare abilities, and chasers will be able to keep up better with slows and traps being used against them.
- If the champion you are using is attack speed reliant, or it isn't, but has an ability that works well with attack speed (such as in case of ) it may be a good idea to sell Mercury's Treads late game and buy . This item offers less movement speed, but has a bunch of other useful stats, such as attack damage, attack speed, and cooldown reduction, as well as offering tenacity, too.
- When combined with the Tenacious (Season Four Mastery) mastery, this item offers 45% tenacity.
