  • Hey, can you help me set up the ability templates? Can't really figure it out. Is it okay if I give you the kit and the numbers and you set it up?

  • I made some changes to Tabbris. and No other person is commenting so may you re-review Tabbris?

    • I'm sorry, I've exams until the 16th.

I'm sure some other people will be able to though. Asking around isn't a bad thing, so be sure to do it to more people. Surely GreenMoriyama and Witchking would be willing to review again.

  • it seems i can't reply or comment, am I in trouble? or is this some technical problems like some kind of connection error (not very likely) or wrong settings?

  • Hey Lesdin,

Since you seem to know a lot about cosmetics, I was wondering if you knew how to make < tabber > tags look like < tabview > tags.

... or any better than the regular ones look, really.

    • You could try modifying the hide/show function of most ability descriptions for vertical sectioning. Tell me if you're interested.

      EDIT: Like the following.

    • While content like my Custom Patch Notes would need the use of a tabview, I would rather avoid using it for simpler things like my Champion Concept pages, simply because I like being able to move between the Abilities, Strategy and other tabs as fast as possible. I guess I'll have to use tabviews if I want the pages to look better.

I've never really considered vertical sectioning, nor do I think it really fits champion concept pages. I'll remember to ask you when I need more help. Thanks!

  • Hello, Lesdin.

I am here to draw attention to my latest custom champion Momo, who you may have missed under the mass of other recent custom champions.

I would be grateful if you had any comments for her - and for me - so that I may make her better.

    Thank you in advance.

But really, sorry it took this long. Hopefully I've provided enough to go about for the first round.

    • Was looking over Izo and noticed the scaling for the ground duration on his Frosted Coating seemed a bit off. Should take a look into that.

  • Howso? Green's CCG looks fine on my end, and I don't see where you've made any visible edits that changed anything.

My profile page is breaking into a million peices though. None of my edits seem to go through. :(

    • As of now, I don't think the tabber template is able to use images in its headers. I tried the ci template the other day on my user page, and it didn't work. It may need a new template.

    • Oh I see what you meant now, my bad for misunderstanding. I'll give mimicking the tabber templates into a custom one but with images for their labels a go when I've the time.

  • Finally went out of my way to create a sandbox for the CCC blog I've always been attesting I would make. If you could offer your two cents on what to cover, or what shouldn't be there, or anything, edit as you wish.

    • Say, would you consider ridding the "Examples of Exceptional CCC Blogs" section?

I know that you probably meant for the best initially, but with all the implications of favouritism/elitism that follows this, I personally believe "Personal Favourites" can stay in one's profile page, and not an instruction manual for beginners.

        Loading editor
    • If you believe it doesn't belong, then I don't mind removing it. The wording may have been entirely wrong, but I intended for the examples to show "properly made CCC blogs," and that morphed into "well, the exceptional ones are usually proper."

If you believe the examples should not be posted still, you can remove them on your end. Otherwise, I'll do so myself as you request.

  • Did you have any practice or expertise with HTML and CSS before joining this Wiki? I dabbled in it many years ago and have forgotten a lot. Trying to mimic your profile reminded me that I should've stuck with it, as it would've come in handy. xd

I'm tempted to refresh myself on them, as your presence and presentation here on the Wiki has set the bar so high.

      Loading editor
    • No actually. When I first joined the LoL Wiki, I was a complete newb when it came to anything coding related (except Python, I've done some uni papers on it, still not the best though). Still am though tbh.

Heck, even publishing Darssan at first was a pain in the buttocks, - since I didn't know anything - studying off official champion pages, figuring which templates do what, etc. All I've done so far is just combining a bit of imagination with the knowledge available on the Wiki. It only took me a bit of patience in which I'm sure anyone could muster.

Anyhow, it's good to hear that the bar for presentation has been set high. But me being the one who has set it there just means that anyone who's willing can in fact publish their work with good presentation. :)

    • One more thing. You're planning on relaunching Tylane and Endear. Will you be creating a new blog post for the relaunch? Or editting the old one?

I'm asking because I want to relaunch Imoen, but IDK if an entirely new blog post is proper etiquette. I don't imagine the admins would have a problem with it, but...

        Loading editor
    • I've actually been meaning to ask around myself.

I'm tempted to make a new blog post, and I doubt it would go against some etiquette, but I'm more concerned as to whether or not it is actually necessary, as I doubt anymore than 10 people at the max would be caring to give a thorough, and critical read of it.

If you would like for the new Imoen to garner some attention without you having to ask around though, I would definitely recommend creating a new post.

        Loading editor
    • If you don't mind me butting in, but if it comes to etiquette, I would say that if the blog itself is at least 6 months old, for sure a new blog is entirely acceptable. Both Tylane and Imoen were posted back in April, so what are you waiting for?

I only ever touch on old blog posts since most, if not all, of them have good critique/comments I wish to preserve. If only those comments could be carried over, or if allowed, blogs were refreshed as if they are a new blog.

As for numbers of people offering critical review, I wouldn't bother over it as much. Ten people is already a lot when you consider how most blogs here only get at most five unique reviewers. Damn to hell, all the people look for custom ideas elsewhere, even though I've found the best ones here kit or concept-wise; other places have art and concept, but not always on the same level as here. If you are lacking, you can always ask around, as I have. If there is an interesting idea, people like Keith, DoubleSlap or Will are likely to flock with an invitation, even if they don't come initially.
