Hey, I'm the creator of the page List of items' stats that you deleted a few hours ago. Could I have a reason why you did this ? And in any case, I would like to be able to get my code back, I took me a couple of hours to make it, and I can't find a way to get it back: the page's history was also deleted, so I can't even check there.

Especially in mainspace, there must be a reasonable window given for editors to weigh in their opinions. Sure, in some cases immediate deletion is acceptable: blanked pages with no page history, spam/profanity, author request, etc. but if you've ever browsed Wikipedia (esp. the nuanced subpages of a topic) you'll notice some pages with "Marked for deletion since... 2012" This is because unilateral deletions are improper procedure, and should be mutually agreed upon, which can take ages to resolve. But these issues are not Gordian knots, and you are no Alexander.
