Notes
Edit
- The damage bonus of
Javelin Toss is based on the distance between Nidalee and her target at time of impact, not the distance traveled by the javelin. As such, moving back immediately after throwing the javelin is wise. [1]
Bushwhack gives momentary vision when placed. When an opponent triggers it, he can be seen along with an area of vision that moves with him.
Takedown refreshes attack cooldown on cast.
- The
Sheen effect does not receive increased damage from the
Takedown multiplier but just adds the attack damage portion again after the
Takedown multiplier.
- For even more clarity the damage formula for
Takedown is: ((total attack damage + 40/70/100) x (1 + ( 2 x %missing health / 100 ))) +
Sheen effect
Takedown can critically strike but will bug often instead resulting in both the critical strike damage multiplier and the
Takedown damage multiplier canceling each other out.(building crit. is not recommended)
Pounce can be used to travel through thin walls.
- Sometimes
Pounce will not travel its full distance and can fail to travel any distance.
- If using
Pounce results in Nidalee jumping to a point which is very close to an enemy (minion or champion), she will briefly turn around to step away from that enemy. Remember about it when lining up for a W+E+Q combo, because that split second of Nidalee facing the wrong way can ruin the
Swipe, greatly hurting your damage output.

AD or AP Nidalee?
-
moron hybrid??!!
-
hmm.. should i buy her? Dunno if its worth it..?? But i want an "aimchamp"
-
AP nidalee uses a massive burst with her spear, I haven't played AD but i'm sure her cougar from excels there, I'd say play hybrid to be strong around.
-
I say AD purely becasue I find being tanker more useful then damage but I have seen hybrid work as well
2 days ago by Juphy -
pure ap her spear does 1000 damage
-
Bruiser AD, that's all.
-
TBH I don't think one or the other is "better". AP focuses on her more mage-like aspects such as healing and spearing people in the face. Whereas AD/bruiser is more about jumping in, absorbing an ult or two, and removing a carry's face. It's somewhat like comparing Irelia and Lux, really. :P
-
AD NIDA TO STRONK! if you build last whisper with no armorpen runes that is.. otherwise she sucks as ad. put some ad or asp instead :D mighty fine
-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cDKjQ6AsU7U watch my nidalee im good with it ^^
-
You aren't that good but I will admit that the last Javelin was kinda funny. I did one like that against a vayne yesterday. I got knocked back by condemn and headbutt at the same time and went flying away but it was just after I tossed my Q :p. Vayne died after taking a 1200 damage Javelin to the face max range.
-
Is Nyandalee easy to play? She seems interesting, but kinda hard as well...
-
cause most people suck as her.
7 days ago by Izkael -
depends on the play style and situation. Don't expect to survive long using cougar when AP unless you to it sneakliy and don't expect to have much control over cougar form if you get stuck in a clusterfuck of enemies and even allies. Most of her difficulty come from aiming her skills and judging when you can commit to something and get away with it.
-
The thing about Nidalee is that you're essentially playing two champs at once. One of which is a ranged queen of harassment, the other being an off-tanky, coolodown-based melee burster. The key to playing her is knowing when to switch between each form.
-
so it's hard... dang
7 days ago by Izkael -
Pretty much but after you get the hang of her I'd say she is slightly less difficult
-
not overly hard. play AD nid up top and it will take a game or two to learn but after that all that there is to learn is how to hop over walls which is a little tricky to learn
5 days ago by Juphy -
Actually, it's rather easy to play her.
The way she's designed, you can't be goo at everything she has to offer. For example, if you go AD, you can pretty much forget about her spear (logic?), and her heals will only be useful if you max it first, and then only through early-mid game, the rest of the game you'll be in cougar form.
If you go AP, you could safely just spam your spear and heals. Then, I wouldn't risk going into cougar form unless you know what you're doing, because without proper gear, you'll be very squishy, so I'd advise using it only to run away.
Some items, like the Rageblade and Lich Bane, makes the AP build a bit more complex to play (and effective), but not necessarily harder... just easier to make mistakes.
-
I had a brilliant flash of ideas and would like feedback. Only reply on #3 which is at the top of the page as I have scrapped #1 and #2.

you may just be the most retarded person on the planet PERIOD
-
Why are you buffing the spear? Wasn't it the most unreliable ability? If you buff that she's gonna be even more broken.
8 days ago by Cjdead -
Definitely sounds interesting. Lower mana costs are an absolute must on Nidalee, and the rework for Primal Surge gives her more support potential. The new passive makes it so you kind of HAVE to play AP Nidalee (which is what people should always be doing, IMO), and it gives her much more synergy with Guinsoo's and Lich Bane, even though she already had plenty of that anyways.
The missile speed buff to Javelin Toss is a nice addition. Oftentimes I'll hurl a Javelin at an opponent only to have it blocked by an incoming minion or dodged because a teammate used a knockback move at the wrong time.
Damage from multiple traps is a nice option, but I personally would have made the debuff stack from multiple traps instead. Something like "each subsequent trap will increase the debuff duration by 50%", maybe. As it stands, Nidalee's traps are better used for scouting and debuffing than they are for direct damage.
All things considered, I really like the rework you have in mind, and I'd love to see something like this in the future.
Personally, I'd be happy if they fixed her bugs, redid her art, and gave her a better model so she's not wearing Yordle Stompers anymore. But this works too. :)
Cheers!
-
The first two people have no idea what they are talking about but w/e. The Javelin Changes make them easier to hit but massively nerf the early damage and slightly buff the late damage.
The change to primal surge removes the burst heal in favor of a heal based on damage you are doing (a balanced heal in RIOTS eyes).
The trap idea was so enemies would get a little more punishment out of stepping on multiple traps when coming into your area in most cases to gank you and well if you have multiple traps you don't want the enemy jungler disarming them all on purpose without some punishment. Allowing the debuff on traps to stack would be OP. The passive change was and idea I got from playing AD Nidalee.
Basically AD Nidalee has no Scaling but high base damages in cougar and when her cooldowns are down she doesn't become useless like AP Nidalee since her auto attack still hurts allot. This just makes it so AP Nidalee can have a hard hitting auto attack too.

@Anons Durrrrr

I really do want some honest feedback from people that understand her mechanics.
-
I like it but the nerf to the attack speed boost was WAYY too much IMO, especially if you want to make use of your new passive idea (which I support)
-
The attackspeed isn't nerfed completely but her Primal Surge is made to be a team buff instead of a single target buff. The attackspeed that Nidalee gets is greater than what she gets now in my rework but allies don't get as much as they do now. The up side is every ally can benefit from it which means it would be OP if it gave the old attackspeed buff to everyone.
-
The new addition to her passive makes her R>W>E>Q combo all the more devastating, because you'll essentially be using 4 abilities (including your Q), so you'll get bonus damage on an execution move.
-
Essentially but at the same time it encourages building a less bulky AP Nidalee and doesn't provide support for tanky dps nid.
-
Wow, if I got that right. You're changing her passive and making her more powerful? I mean, isn't she top tier already? Why buff her more? If anything she needs more nerfs.
I mean, your Nidalee remake would make her godly. The best champ for sure. Unkillable. Unmovable in lane.
(Passive):Nidalee regains health equal to a percent of the damage she deals and gains a permanent attack speed increase. (Passive is active during aspect of the Cougar)
Wow.. just wow..
Additionally every time Nidalee uses an ability she gains an additional 15% of her ability power as bonus attack damage that lasts for 3 seconds and stacks up to 4 times.
again.. were u drunk when u thought that up?
-
Essentially she gets free lifesteal i guess. And wow.. awesome range to boot. You should ask Riot how your changes sound. Seriously :)
-
Essentially it isn't very strong early game but picks up late game and there is more incentive to go AP instead of AD and you still don't heal quite as much as old Nidalee heal would do late game. I originally had the idea to just give stacks on her passive based purely on an ability being on cooldown but that would give her at least 1 stack for 18 seconds so better to just limit it to 3 seconds rather than possible 18 seconds and have each stack expire independent of the others.
I suppose you could think turtle stance minus the damage amp, shield, and mana return but at a range and with attackspeed but you would have to interrelate fight for sustain and inevitably push making it a risk/reward deal.
-
bit late but whatever...
i think the passive is too much. imagine u have 400 ap (which is not unnormal lategame) u get what... 240 bonus ad? thats way too much for a passive imo. make it 10% and 3 stacks and it might be alright.
her range should be 550 imo. but thats just me.
her q ratio is a bit high i think. with the 300% and the missile speed buff it should be max 0,7.
for the rest... dunno. sounds interesting. even tho i like the idea with the ad and ap ratios from ur 2nd try better.
-
I kinda agree a little on the passive effect but more along the line of 10% at 4 stacks instead of 15% because I want it to be an in between damage combos thing or even just make it a lower percent in human and higher percent in cougar.
As for the Javelin Toss ratios I think I have that perfectly balanced. Honestly just do the math on it. even with good AP it does less than the old Javelin Toss early and does a little bit more later. At 0 AP you do about 180 less or lower damage than current Javelin Toss at max range and at 500 AP you do about 200 more damage at max range. Assuming you have max rank in Q:
Old Q: 230 * 2.5 = 575 Old Q with 500 AP: (230+325)2.5 = 1387.5
New Q: 140 * 3 = 420 New Q with 500 AP: (140+400)3 = 1620
Just think about it. My aim was for better late game.
-
Well, like I said earlier, he passive is kind of powerful. It allows you to play AP and still dish out huge damage in tiger form late game. Okay her heal is gone on a single target. But with your change, that effect is hardly felt. Cause now they heal themselves during teamfights, with all that's required is your presence. With everyone receiving ats and heal for that much duration. I mean, its way better than her old Primal Surge which was only a single target boost to 60% as.
Plus you shouldn't be allowed to switch forms during supressions or stuns, silences. It makes her tanky, support, and deal huge damage without really putting anything much into AP. It allows you to concentrate solely on AP and just a little tanky, supporting like a pro in teamfights and dealing huge damage. Its like Auralee + APlee + her new passive ADlee.
-
I like the pounce. I get pretty frustrated when I'm trying to pounce onto a nearly dead enemy when we're both in the middle of a bunch of minions only to see Nidalee derp off to some random direction. >.<"
and then he gets away...
-
Whoa. hello. i'm with the one asking if you were drunk. you're making her omnipotent. i love nidalee to bits, but a champ should only have one passive effect on their passive skill.... period. movement speed or the attack boost (which i can't say i like)
okay primal surge a life steal?! please no. I want to be able to heal others, and heal myself on will, without attacking, that saves me all the time!
i do agree that her traps are shit. they dont get activated like caits and teemos shrooms. and a little more damage to it is a good idea.
Nidalee doesnt need to be that buffed. the whole idea makes me think you like her lore but can't play her and want to make her easier to play... but what good is it if you can't say "i master this champ, now you die!!" ?
you asked for my opinion theres mine :D P.S. cougar Q should be made to stack on ap and not ad...
-
I have been playing Nidalee for about 2 years dude. Since beta I have been playing her and I have had to deal with all those changes and re-adapt. She was played AD more on release than AP mainly because she had shitty ratios on pretty much every ability. but her heal scaled up to 300 and only had 50 mana cost. Then RIOT nerfed the crap out of AD Nidalee by trashing the heal amount and cost granted I agree then it was kinda high for its cost but it was completely on par with GP and tryn whos heals still have the same costs and almost same amount.
Anyway you talking about changing her like it hasn't happened before. I have had to deal with her being changed 3 to 4 times in ways that completely altered her play style. I have played her enough to master her in every way and with that I created this Nidalee bug thread many times: http://na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=501818
I get few replies and very few results because RIOT is completely fixed on ignoring Nidalee. Go ahead try and get RIOTs attention on Nidalee. They will never answer a Nidalee thread or question ever.
The only reason I made her passive a two effect passive is because her pasive is only useful in brush at them moment and when I first started playing her passive was twice as potent and there was twice as much brush. The secondary effect is meant to be her team fight presence because she can't burst someone down from full to 0. She may be able to make you go from 100 to 50 but not 100 to 0. So the passive is meant to give her some dps in between her cooldowns. Along with that her Primal surge will give her extra survivability without having to build pure tank but also allow her to fill a semi team support role.
Maybe you don't like it maybe you do. This is just a theory craft and is just meant for fun and I don't expect RIOT to even take notice since they just completely ignore Nidalee.
My opinion of Nidalee at them moment is she is worse off than before all her changes(Nerfs). People don't want to admit it but she is just a giant pillow that slaps you to death. Do you know how long it can take to kill someone with a pillow? She doesn't scale with AD or tanky builds very well and AP is just so bland at everything.
Tanky dps relies on being tanky enough to take punishment long enough to get some burst off with cougar base and auto attacks for lifesteal but suffers from massive mana costs and scaling problems and bugs.
AP Nidalee has to be built either glass cannon making cougar suicide or tanky AP in which she is just bland at everything and all those items are expensive.
Infact no mater how you build her you practically have to be in lane all game just to farm up all the gear you need to even be a threat. Mind you I know she is fully capable of farming but you can't farm all day if you want your team to win.
Anyway enough rambling
-
i've read all of your changes and thought about them carefully, but i can agree only to one change: the range increase in cougar form. Changing her Spear makes it useless for AD Nidalee and only meh for hybrid. Right now its meh for AD, nice for hybrid and good for AP and that is fine. and although less base damage NO ONE should have a 2,4 ratio but nunu 1,625 is already ridiculously high This shit already has low cd but you just made a 4 second cd supernuke out of it . a 1 second dot is btw not a dot since dots apply damage only once per second. although the change to her jump would make it easier for new players, i feel like it would be too easy... The change on her heal is the one that made me think hardest. I just think it wouldn't feel like nidalee anymore... but if you ask for balancing: compare it to other AS buffs and lifesteal/spellvamp and i'd have to say: halve her AS or she's op, but when you halve it....where's the point having it. So for her passive: U MAD BRO? u gave her a super low cd meganuke on range and if she isn't she can still keep that damage up? ridiculous. that would be like doubling Riven's AD ratio on q and w -> op. For the mana costs: With your lowered costs i can spam all day and never be oom. right now you have to think about how you use your mana earlygame. As soon as you can cougar you can preserve your mana anyways. IMO she doesn't need a range increase in human form. She's fine the way she is. Oh and making her ult usable while stunned/suppressed etc is just wrong and I don't even know WHY she should be able to... And for RIOT: they NEVER reply to any champ change suggestions. They read them and indeed use them if they are good (and change is in fact needed) but they never reply (and why should they?)
-
nearly forgot to comment the thing on farm: and where exactly is the difference to ANY OTHER champ? everyone needs to pretty much farm 24/7 until they get a significant item advantage (usually through dragon or ganks or just outplaying the opponent)
-
The part about farm is it doesn't go as far on Nidalee as other champs and That is the main reason why tanky dps Nidalee is so strong. Damage items barely have an effect on her dps but tanky items and CDR allow her to survive longer allowing her to put out more dps longer.
RIOT is so focused on nerfing and keeping heals down that I can't see them buffing them up especially since they nerfed them across the board and because technically Nidalee still has the highest potential heal. I made it a damage based heal that can be reduced by armor and magic resist but increases cougar survivability.
My primal surge change on increases Nidalee's attack attack speed on her for 10% more but allies get 25% less but it affects more allies than just one. Also since it is an active and not an aura it is like a temporary starks fervor or Wota without the damage benefits. If I could just get her mana costs lowered in her current form and swipe ratio increased I would be happy.
The new addition to the passive is just another incentive to go AP but it is a late game passive to fill the gap where she is is weakest. Squishy melee caster. She hits like a noodle as AP once her cooldowns are down and is open to sever counter attacks. Most of the time as AP if your burst doesn't kill them you die because you went melee and when you are at range you can't capitalize on the damage you do from a range.
with the traps I was just bad a rewording it. Currently when you hit a trap it counts starts a countdown timer that tics for two seconds dealing damage at the end of each second but the way it is setup you can take next to no damage from them because you only take damage after each second. This is meant to keep you from stacking them in a way that can kill someone entering the brush. what I want is for them to kinda work similar to sapling toss. Basically each one you step on always deals the initial 50% damage but the second tic damage gets reset before it can do damage if you step on multiple traps. The trap isn't supposed to be a traditional dot but merely a balance factor.
For the ult I only want you to be able to change forms to gain the extra damage reduction of cougar and nothing more. Think of like how tryn can still use his ult to survive.
Finally the Javelin Toss change. I really don't get the problem you have. I want to make AD Nidalee useless and buff AP Nidalee and by doing this the damage output is only slightly increased. The damage early game is weaker but easier to land/lower cooldown and the damage late is slightly higher. If you don't believe me do the math. calculate the minimal damage and max damage with 0 AP and then 500 AP
-
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't one of the benefits of Nidalee's Takedown that it couldn't be dodged? If so, I feel that my favorite cougar kind of got left out of all the dodge removal hype. :(
-
Every move like Takedown was changed to not be able to be dodged months ago
-
Pounce Pounce Pounce Pounce Pounce Pounce Pounce Pounce Pounce Pounce Pounce Pounce Pounce Pounce Pounce Pounce - Unfuckinggankable. And Metagolem works on that bitch, of course. Remove this shit from the game please.
-
Your thoughts can be summed up in this video.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8gYqqd1dWA
Regardless, she's still difficult to play properly, not to mention she's got bugs out the ass. No reason to remove whatsoever.
-
Just don't fucking chase her? She needs to get in your face to deal damage, use that against her.
-
hell ya bruisadlee top lane is fuckennn oppppp
-
Her Q's ratio is to high imo, she can intakill squishies who dont bother to vuild some mr -_-
-
...Or stand behind minions, or just side-step. The Q will do lethal damage at max range, but if you see it coming at you and do nothing to avoid it, you deserve to take a shit-ton of damage.
-
If you get into melee with her she can't deal damage with Q to you. Keep this in mind in the future.
-
The problem with Q is its erratic (imo) hitbox. Sometimes you are standing like 2 meters away from it and it still hits. Which is qite annoying.
7 days ago by Buroda -
Dyomaeth: your comments on this post and the one above counter each other rather strongly...
-
The top is refering to meta golem while this one is replying to AP Nid
-
@ Buroda Yeah, I've had that erratic hitbox get me many times. Even if you are standing behind a minion, it doesn't hit the minion until it's halfway through it, yet all it takes is the tip of the spear to hit a champion.
-
I like it how her Q does more damage than a Malzahar ultimate. Yup, all balanced alrite, move along folks - nothing to see here.
-
^Are you seriously saying her Q is op?
4 days ago by Zaroph -
Did someone really just compare Nidalee's spear with Malzahar's ult? *Facepalm*
-
lmao Malz ult still does more and you only take that much damage from javelins when you are at the easiest point to dodge it.
-
How to counter her top as a meele?
-
Depends on what melee you're playing. Early game, she's quite useless at close range, try to use that to your advantage. Just remember to stay out of the brush, because any Nidalee player worth their salt will trap a bush, leaving you completely open to an even-more powerful Q.
-
I don't know why so many people still want to build her ap after the huge nerfs to her heal. The ap ratio was nerfed by .5. That's a lot. If you want to play ap nid at a high level of play you pretty much have to buy RoA first to be tanky enough to actually be able to use cougar form at all past 25 minutes for anything more than movement around the map.
Ad Nidalee is borderline broken top lane. I'm not talking atmogs. That's the herp derp build that honestly really doesn't do anything and makes you almost ignorable. I mean wriggles>triforce>ga>situaional item>situational item. If I'm trolling I'll go IE, LW for lols, but in a real game I'll usually go tankier with a randuins or FoN or whatever fits the situation best. Triforce Nid is so good... I don't understand. Do people just not play it outside of higher elo ranked games?
-
i totally agree about the ad top nidalee part she is completely broken up there. Also her agility is way above Rivens making her almost impossible to gank and if you don't believe me have a race around the jungle. Plus she can jump walls.....
-
Riven has better short range mobility and Nidalee has better sustained mobility. Riven can catch Nidalee but once her abilities are all on CD Nidalee can easily run or catch up.
-
I know you can build her AD and I hear that she's actually pretty good, but I don't know what to build. Any help?
-
merc's, wriggle's, warmog's, atma's, FoN, trinity force
-
What should I buy first?
-
wriggles. (although you do want to sell it later on and buy a frozen heart or randuins omen)
12 days ago by Juphy -
frozem heart or randuins no leave it to the tanks inithiators like malphite
-
Ninja Tabi (in most cases), wriggles, triforce, ga. Last two items situational. (usually tankier)
-
So in teamfights, she just stands back and throws her spear and heals
-
...And debuffs people with traps, then changes into cougar form and screws everybody over with close-range AoE burst. She's also good at chasing down stragglers. Can't catch up in cougar form? Change and Q. :3
-
give all her cougar-skills (maybe javelin toss too) ap AND ad ratios, would that be a bad idea? right now im always not sure what to build, ad or ap. have to change the numbers a bit then ofc, but i think it wouldnt be too bad.
-
They would have to readjust all her base damages to allow that.
-
ye thats what i meant with changing the numbers. i just think her cougar form ratios r too shitty for ap and she only has one ad ratio. and all ap nids lategame that i see r javelin toss spamming glasscannons that die in one sec when they try to use their cougar form in teamfights. i personally play her as tanky dps with alot of cdr because of her meh rarios and relatively high base damage. not sure if thats a good way to build her tho.
-
dear lord does she have some good burst damage and lvl 6, I normally solo top with here and I can out damage cho'gath sustain O.o
-
lol i almost got 3150 and i want to buy nidalee but should i save up for a tank like trundle or save up till 6300 for lee sin
-
IMO nid is better than she is priced. She should be 6300 cuz you can play her AD or AP, so you can actually play her on solotop as offtank, on mid as caster and on bot as support (nah, really its worth to try). Perma-buy IMO. And be aware of javelins :)
-
Support Nida is bad. AP nida is only good when played right, too. Definitely newb friendly. Lee Sin OP, go for him. (JK of course, but he's so good.)
-
ty ima buy her today ap or ad i cant decide people say ap/as is good
-
I'm finally nearing 3150 ip and I wanna buy a champ . Nidalee or Pantheon ? I want a champ which is both good in dominion and norm games .
-
AD nid is a good pick almost always but MANtheon is more of a counter pick to champs such as GP. unless GP gives you a ton of issues top lane I would suggest nid
16 days ago by Juphy -
I'd take Nida for normal. Panth is more Dominion, which is fun too though. :)
-
phanteon not is never will be more dominon he can totaly kill carry like gp vayne master yi and some others
-
nidalee is op in dominion, i hit all my spears, 15-1 score. http://www.leaguereplays.com/replays/match/136041/
-
Is Nid with Trinity and Guinsoo considered AD or Hybrid?
-
Hybrid. You're better off just going full AP with Lich Bane, but Trinity's not a bad option on her, because she can always keep the proc up and the slow will help her takedown an enemy without a lengthly and risky chase.
I tend to shy away from items with crit chance, though, because they tend to bug on Nid's Q and render it useless.
-
Isn't Guinsoo like the perfect item on Nid?
She can constantly keep those stacks up without having to auto like Jax.
I dunno, I've seen some amazing results with Trinity+Guinsoo Nid.
According to the Nid master himself, HotShot, AP Nid takes more skill to play than Hybrid or AD.
Opinions?
-
Guinsoo's used to be amazing till they nerfed her mana costs and AP ratios on her heal. The whole point was it synergized with every aspect of her. 2 attackspeed buffs, attack damage for auto attacks and takedown, and AP for heals and pokes. Now you have too high of mana costs to really be able to utilize guinsoo's.
-
Why would you go Triforce + Guinsoo instead of Guinsoo + Lichbane?
-
Well, throw in an atmogs and you're tanky nida, annoying as fuck!!!
-
^annoying yes useful no

Usefull no? Haha, look that noob.
-
Hey, people, what's the best build for Nidalee??? AD or AP??? Any suggestions???
-
AP. AS steroid, armor debuff and Takedown aside, you're best off going with AP so that you can heal and nuke like a boss. Lich Bane and Guinsoos are the real must-haves, IMO, Lich Bane because you can proc it every 2 seconds in cougar form and Guinsoo's because Nidalee can always keep full stacks.
-
AD Nidalee
-
Well i prefer raw AP but u need the right team for a poke game

AD counter every1 at solo top, so she's nice.
-
I have a video series called Champion Tips and Tricks, it is fairly new but I have 2 Nidalee videos so far that you guys can reference , stay tuned! Jungle Pouncing - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SarwUHZsMcw Traps - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6J-hUBPDi8&feature=youtu.be
Best of Luck using my favorite champion of all time, Nidalee!
-
Bruiser nidalee is probably the most annoying champ in this game
-
Temo :D but yes AD nid is a pain in the ass but not rly useful like temo :D

Soraka and Trynd are more annoying imo
-
I usually play Flash and Ghost.Any other good options?
-
Why? Nidalee gets away all the damn time with her leap, get ignite, bungle.
-
Flash and Ignite would seem like a better option.
Scrap Ghost.
You run fast as hell anyways.
-
^ Very true.
-
I would say teleport/ignite. I don't use flash on any champ that already has a low cooldown dash. She has a built-in flash! :D
-
I also run Ghost and Flash
it just suits my style of play better since i like to play full AP Nid... u know with deathcap, LB. Rageblade, Voidstaff, etc
allows you to be more effective in team fights with ghost imo. human form: spam all skill so its all on CD then couger/ghost jump in on weak target QWE then gtfo and rince and repeat. she pokes really hard mid game in team fights and pushes turrets like a boss
-
Damage for Q is calculated on impact, so unless you and your target are standing completely still for the duration of the spell (which would only happen if you're pl
-
I lol'd. Try to pounce away before it hits, moar dmg.
-
IDK If I suck with her,or my team sucks...but I always find it hard to get kills and play good.I Dont even know what to build her like.Any tips?
-
Key to playing a proper Nid is knowing when to switch between human and cougar forms. During the laning phase pre-level 6, just farm with auto-hits, using your E to heal and buff AS. Use traps to keep tabs on the enemies in the bush and drive them out of their farm. Don't neglect your auto-attack, and don't over-use your Q. Once you hit level 6, use cougar form for burst damage, farming, and more survivability.
Switch to human form whenever you need to heal/buff, trap every bush you see, or hold at a turret. You should be in cougar form whenever you're out of mana (which happens a LOT as Nid), if you're farming, soloing an enemy champ, or if you need to escape from any unfavorable situation.
As for build, I'm not the best person to ask, but AP Nidalee is your best bet. Rod of Ages, Rylai's, Rabadon's and Lich Bane are all good options on Nidalee.
-
rabadon is to expensive IMO. better Guinsoo's Rageblade - its easy to keep stacks, gives AP, attack speed, little AD.
-
^ Rabadons is a must for any AP champ.
-
Rageblade 1st then lvl2 boots then death cap rage blade 1st because it give u enough AP and AD and AS to carry u until u can get deathcap usually when i play NId its GG b4 i even finish buildiung my LB after my deathcap
-
what is the minimal distance needed to deal max Q? maybe riot can put coloured band on the "blue" arrow to indicate effective damage values.... say X1 X2 X3...
-
1500 is max damage 0 is minimal damage and 750 is mid range
-
AP nid is great... but actually takes skill... however, AD NID IS A PEICE OF SHIT and needs a huge Rework.. like HUGE rework..
I don't wanna get into details but The essence of a AD nid is just WM and FON.. ridiculous hp regen and hp.. its just... its not fun at all.
-
Pretty much... Its actually pretty funny because your just a giant pillow that slaps people to death but absolutely noting in her kit scales well with it.
-
^and yet you still end up doing more reliable damage then AP nid.... interesting how these things work out
17 days ago by Juphy -
^ Sheen works very good with skill set actually. But yeah the scaling is not good for tank Nidalee.
-
As a AP Nid player my dmg is quite sustained, jus toss spears to harass u'll always hit something in a team fight lol then jump in as kitty and nyan the shit out of ppl
