Notes

• The base timer for Storm's Edge is 3 seconds, but since Stormrazor grants attack speed, the timer is reduced to 2.4 seconds (except for Jhin).
• On Jhin, the timer only reduces with his base attack speed, building bonus attack speed (items, runes, etc...) will not affect the timer. This sets his Storm's Edge timer to seconds.
• Storm's Edge's critical strike does not take priority over a standard critical strike (e.g it will not apply the critical modifier or movement speed to either Fiora's Bladework or Shaco's Backstab criticals).
• Yasuo's Steel Tempest and Gangplank's Parrrley count as a basic attack for Stormrazor and will go on cooldown even if no targets are hit.

Strategy

• Stormrazor synergizes well with Statikk Shiv as the empowered attack counts as a critical strike, increasing Statikk Shiv's damage.
• Storm's Edge's damage reaches its maximum (200%) at 30% critical strike chance, which can be obtained by buying any one of or by buying .
• When only considering basic attacks without additional effects, the effectiveness of waiting versus attacking is not dependent on bonus attack speed and is given by critical damage / (3 × base attack speed).
  • This means that with more base attack speed it is less effective to wait for Storm's Edge.
  • Without critical strike chance, the only champion in the game on which it is better to wait for Storm's Edge is Graves.

• The passive Storm's Edge was called Wind Blade in development.

V8.15

• New Recipe: B. F. Sword + Long Sword + Long Sword + Dagger + 500 = 2800.
  • Old Recipe: B. F. Sword + Pickaxe + Dagger + Dagger + 425 = 3200.
• Attack damage reduced to 65 from 75.
• Attack speed reduced to 25% from 30%.
• Bug Fix: No longer incorrectly gives movement speed on every crit if the Stormrazor crit activated Conqueror.

V8.13 - July 3rd Hotfix

• New Recipe: B. F. Sword + Pickaxe + Dagger + Dagger + 425 = 3200.
  • Old Recipe: B. F. Sword + Pickaxe + Dagger + 725 = 3200.
• Increased damage percent reduced to 0.75% critical strike chance from 1.5%. Reaches 200% damage at 30% critical strike chance instead of 60%.

• Storm's Edge bonus movement speed increased to 20% from 10%.
