• With Quinn's rework, her ultimate changed from "transforming" her into Valor to a special visual channel which renders her unable to attack (and is interrupted by damage).

Unlike her old ultimate, when changing her form, Quinn doesn't change to a melee champion or loses attack range anymore. The strongest indicator though possibly is Quinn's inability to buy Titanic/Ravenous Hydra, unlike regular Shapeshifters.

As with her rework, I claim that Quinn does not qualify as Shapeshifter anymore, and as such she should be removed from the Shapeshifter category (which I can't do). But as Quinn's ult still is a major gameplay factor in her kit and the term Shapeshifter isn't precisely coined, I think it is in order to first discuss whether or not her removal from the shapeshifter category is in order or not.

    • On one hand, it's kinda like she's just putting on a jetpack now, on the otherhand it's kinda like Transformers combiners which could be considered a transformation ergo shapeshift.

I just made this more complicated didn't I?

    • I'd say she should be removed, but perhaps a note - maybe in trivia or something - it can be mentioned that she used to be a shapeshifter?

    • Why does it matter?

    • Shapeshifter is a meaningless term if it's only a visual effect if you ask me. However, the term isn't coined, and depending on the like or dislike of the wiki, I wanted to know whether it's supposed to be a visual effect or a gameplay element.

    • She was never a shapeshifter to start with, she simply swapped places with Valor, not changing into him.

    • I vote she remains a shapeshifter, as she does still have an alternate form that alters most of her abilities, including her basic attacks and of course her speed.

    • Her ult doesn't alter any of her abilities, it's a self buff with a second cast just like Riven's ultimate.

    • She is no longer a shapeshifter, as that would imply she gains an entire new set of buttons like the actual shapeshifters do.

@CinderWolf5673, She was a shapeshifter mechanically, which is what the term references.
