Udyr, the Spirit Walker is a champion in League of Legends [1].

Abilities

Udyr uses the stance mechanic. His abilities all have a persistent effect which remain until he activates another ability. Each ability also has a temporary activation effect that occurs upon being cast; the temporary effect of each stance persists for its full duration even if Udyr changes stance again. Switching stances sets off a 2 second global cooldown.

All of Udyr's abilities have 5 ranks, but as Udyr can only gain a maximum of 18 skill points at level 18, he cannot ever max out all of his abilities. He may max three abilities (with the fourth only reaching its 3rd rank) or he may max two abilities (with the other two reaching their 4th rank).

Monkey's Agility
Monkey's Agility

Each time Udyr switches stances, he gains 5 flat movement speed and 10% attack speed for 5 seconds. This effect can stack up to 3 times.

Ability Details

Monkey's Agility is a self-buff.

Additional Information:

  • Further stance activations at maximum stacks of Monkey's Agility will refresh the timer.
Tiger Stance
COST: 47 / 44 / 41 / 38 / 35 mana

Tiger Stance

Stance Activation: Udyr gains attack speed for 5 seconds. Udyr will perform a Tiger Stance Tiger Strike with his first basic attack after activation, dealing bonus physical damage over 2 seconds to the target.

  • Attack Speed Bonus: 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 / 70%
  • Total Bonus Damage Over Time: 30 / 80 / 130 / 180 / 230 (+ 120 / 130 / 140 / 150 / 160% AD)

Persistent Effect: Udyr's basic attacks deal bonus physical damage equal to 15% of his attack damage.

Ability Details

Tiger Stance is a self-buff ability with an on-hit effect component.

  • Applies spell effects as a damage over time ability.
  • The triggering attacks will apply other on-hit effects and can critically strike as normal.
    • Like most on-hit physical damage, the bonus damage from Tiger Stance will apply life steal.
    • Critical strikes do not interact with the bonus damage from Tiger Stance.
    • The persistent onhit physical damage can successfully be  dodged,  parried and  blocked.
      • However, they do not prevent application of the active DoT.
    • If Udyr is blinded, neither the persistent damage nor the active damage will be applied, and it will consume the empowered attack of the active.
  • Spell shields will not block the enhanced autoattack.

Additional Information:

  • Despite being an on-hit effect, Tiger Stance's active DoT will trigger spell effects as a damage-over-time spell, such as spell vamp and the reduced version of Rylai's slow.
  • Tiger Stance's DoT does not stack; applying it again only refreshes the duration.
  • Tiger Stance's primed DoT does not persist through stance changes.
Turtle Stance
COST: 47 / 44 / 41 / 38 / 35 mana

Stance Activation: Udyr gains a shield for up to 5 seconds.

  • Shield Strength: 60 / 100 / 140 / 180 / 220 (+ 50% AP)

Persistent Effect: Udyr gains life steal.

  • Life Steal: 10 / 12 / 14 / 16 / 18%
Ability Details

Turtle Stance is a self-buff ability.

Additional Information:

  • As with any other form of in-built life steal, Turtle Stance's healing does not work on structures.
Bear Stance
COST: 47 / 44 / 41 / 38 / 35 mana

Bear Stance

Stance Activation: For a short duration, Udyr gains increased movement speed, ignores unit collision, and performs a short dash towards enemy champions he stuns with his attacks.

  • Movement Speed Bonus: 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 35%
  • Movement Speed Duration: 2 / 2.25 / 2.5 / 2.75 / 3

Persistent Effect: Udyr's basic attacks stun the target for 1 second.

The dash and stun cannot reoccur on the same target within 6 seconds.

Ability Details

Bear Stance is a self-buff ability with an on-hit effect component.

  • The triggering attack will apply other on-hit effects and can critically strike as normal.
  • Bear Stance's stun does not interact with structures.
  • If the enhanced autoattack is  dodged,  parried or  blocked or Udyr is blinded, the target will still be stunned but will receive no damage.
  • Spell shields will block the ability and incur the 6 second stun immunity.
Phoenix Stance
COST: 47 / 44 / 41 / 38 / 35 mana
COOLDOWN: 6
Phoenix Stance

Stance Activation: Udyr unleashes pulsing waves of fire around himself for 5 seconds, dealing magic damage each second to enemies within 250 range.

  • Magic Damage Per Wave: 15 / 25 / 35 / 45 / 55 (+ 25% AP)
  • Total Magic Damage: 75 / 125 / 175 / 225 / 275 (+ 125% AP)

Persistent Effect: On the first attack after activation and on every third subsequent attack, Udyr engulfs enemies in flames, dealing magic damage in a cone in front of him.

  • Magic Damage - 1st Attack & Per Third Attack: 40 / 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 (+ 45% AP)
  • Flame Range: 625
Ability Details

Phoenix Stance's activation effect is a point blank area of effect ability. Its persistent effect is a conic area of effect on-attack effect.

Additional Information:

  • The current counter for the next activation of Phoenix Stance's persistent effect does not reset upon exiting combat.

    • I do not like Pulsfire Ezreal that much actaully. I am a fan of Explorer Ezreal. So for me, Spirit Guard Udyr is the better skin.
