Altair, the Reaper of Stars

Friend(s) Bard Rival(s): Soraka, Warwick

An uncanny mage who bears the power of stars in its darkest form. She is called Altair, a former immortal . She dwelled in the heavens but unlike other celestial beings, Altair's duty was to monitor the lifespan of every living thing. Today, she roams the world of mortals after a big decision changed her life.

Altair monitors everything filled with life may it be flora, yordles, animals, humanity, or heavenly bodies. Another part of her mission was to provide them energy through celestial magic. Since the League had started, Altair was fascinated by how humans and yordles manage to live within the Fields of Justice. She focused her attention on them and provided them with radiant energies for millenniums until two unsupervised galaxies died due to lack of power. This alerted her master and punished Altair, forcing her out of the heavens. Despite being thrown away, it never bothered her and continued watching over the League. This story was only according to Soraka who apparently changed the story to make it sound better. But darker secrets are still kept by Altair and the true story hasn't been told.

Altair is actually the first of her kind, and Soraka was just one of those who followed. Altair and Soraka share the same status but they became rivals due to their contrasting beliefs and use of the stars' magic: for peace and chaos, respectively. Despite their relationship, they unite against Warwick but with their own personal reasons. Right after a day in the mortal world, Altair has decided to join the League, in order to prove that her fellows really deserve her "attention".

"I endured mortality longer, Soraka. But I felt less worries." - Altair, the Reaper of Stars
