Dom/3v3 post here. If you prefer to solely play a game mode where the first 15 minutes mainly consist of waiting for the minions' health to drop low enough so your attack stat will net you their gold, this is not for you.
The death of Hextech SweeperEdit

- Ability power reduced to 40 from 50.
- Health reduced to 250 from 300.
- Cooldown reduction increased to 20% from 10%.
- No longer grants movement speed.
The main featureEdit
Everybody knows Hextech Sweeper has been way too strong and cost-efficient, but wow - did they really have to outright destroy it?
Now it's really just a niche item to get against Teemo shrooms - which is utterly pointless since they already nerfed Teemo shrooms to death on the only maps that you can get Hextech Sweeper on in the first place. What kind of logic is that now.
Yeah, you can also get it for the active vision boost - but then you're essentially spending gold on. You can have Clairvoyance for free in Dominion/3v3. Nobody takes Clairvoyance for free in Dominion/3v3.
Oh, and you can also use it against Akali. A champion that is only good at snowballing on a map where you can't snowball. You can also build it against Akali on a map where she gets eaten by the superior bruiser/tank champs.
Yeah, it sucked having to get the item for its sheer strength on almost every AP-scaling champ in the game, but it actually served sort-of as a core item on some of my dom/3v3 champ builds. The quick and cheap mobility, combined with both increased survivability and damage really gave a solid start for some champions and builds that have a rather problematic early game on those maps. Note - I'm not talking about the cost-efficiency of the item; I'm talking about the different stats it provided, as in, there is no other good, cheap item now at all that provides both, say, health and passive movement speed.
What,is supposed to fill Hextech Sweeper's place? Don't make me laugh.
