I feel like I may have seen this idea on another user blog, but whatever. Here's a simple idea for a Karma rework. Her main problem seems to be her long mantra cooldown, and the fact that she can't do much with her non-mantra'd abilities. So, having a stance-based ultimate and dividing her damage and support to the different stances lets her keep a similar playstyle, but lets her be a passive or an aggressive support at will. The stat bonuses on her ult simply let her be less item dependent.

Passive: Karma gains up to 30 - 130 (based on level) ability power corresponding to her percentage of missing health.


Heavenly Wave
RANGE: 650
COST: 70 / 75 / 80 / 85 / 90 / 95 mana
COOLDOWN: 6
Heavenly Wave

Active (Yin): Heavenly Wave heals Karma and allies in the arc.

  • Magic damage: 70 / 110 / 150 / 190 / 230 / 270 (+ 60% AP)

Active (Yang): Karma deals magic damage to enemies in a 65° arc.

  • Heal: 35 / 55 / 75 / 95 / 115 / 135 + 5% (+1% per 50 AP) ally's missing health


Spirit Bond
RANGE: 800
COST: 65 / 75 / 85 / 95 / 105 / 115 mana
COOLDOWN: 15 / 14 / 13 / 12 / 11 / 10
Spirit Bond

Active (Yin): Karma makes a 1000-range tether from herself to target ally for up to 5 seconds, gaining a movement speed bonus for the duration. Allies that touch the tether gain the same movement speed bonus for 3 seconds.

  • Magic damage: 80 / 125 / 170 / 215 / 260 / 305 (+ 70% AP)
  • Slow: 20% / 24% / 28% / 32% / 36% / 40%
  • Speed bonus: 10% / 12% / 14% / 16% / 18% / 20%
  • Leash range: 1000

Active (Yang): Karma makes a 1000-range tether from herself to target enemy for up to 5 seconds, slowing the target as well as slowing and damaging all enemies that pass through the tether.


Soul Shield
RANGE: 650
COST: 70 / 80 / 90 / 100 / 110 / 120 mana
COOLDOWN: 10
Soul Shield

Active (Yin): Target ally gains a shield that absorbs a certain amount of damage. The shield dissipates after 5 seconds if not already destroyed.

  • Shield: 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 / 240 / 280 (+ 80% AP)

Active (Yang): Soul Shield deals magic damage to enemies within 300 range of target unit upon casting.

  • Magic damage: 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 / 240 / 280 (+ 80% AP)


Yin/Yang
COST: None
COOLDOWN: 10 / 8 / 6
Mantra

Passive (Yin): Karma gains 10 / 20 / 30 armor and magic resist, and nearby allies gain half the bonus. Passive (Yang): Karma gains 8 / 16 / 24 ability power and attack damage, and nearby allies gain half the bonus.

Active: Karma switches between her Yin and Yang stances, changing the effects of her abilities. The Yin and Yang sides of each ability have their own cooldowns. Yin/Yang is available from level 1 and does not require skill points to increase its rank.


Obviously all values are just conjecture (there's no way for me to balance them).

Edit: Just for clarity, my idea was that her different skillsets would have separate cooldowns, so she could quickly cast all her Yin skills and then switch to Yang and keep casting, or vice versa.

Edit 2: Posts have been made on the League forums and League subreddit. It would be awesome if this idea gained some traction and got seen by a Rioter.
