Grandmaster's Might
Relentless Assault

Innate: Jax deals 20 - 190 (based on level) (+ 80% AP) bonus magic damage to the target on every 3rd basic attack within 2.5 seconds.

Each of his basic attack grants him 3.5% - 11% (based on level) bonus attack speed for 2.5 seconds, stacking up to 8 times for a maximum of 28% - 88% (based on level) bonus attack speed.

Ability Details
Grandmaster's Might is on-hit effect and self-buff on-hit effect.

Additional Information:

  • Stacks fall off one at a time every 0.25 seconds after not basic attacking for 2.5 seconds.
  • Jax keeps generating stacks of Grandmaster's Might, even if his attacks are getting Counter Strike.png dodged or if they Blind icon miss.
  • Grandmaster's Might's stack generation will be triggered when attacking structures.
    • The bonus damage will not affect structures (although the sound effect will be played).
    • Despite being an on-hit effect, the bonus damage will trigger spell effects as a single-target spell.
    • The bonus damage will cause Muramana item.png Muramana's to trigger twice with a single basic attack.

Leap Strike

Active: Jax channels for up to 4 seconds, increasing Leap Strike's damage and range over 1.25 seconds. Jax retains the ability to move, but Slow icon slowing himself by 15% for the duration.

Jax dashes to the target location, dealing physical damage to all nearby enemies while Stun icon stunning them for 0.75 seconds.

Additional Information:

  • Jax can use summoner spells or his other abilities during Leap Strike's channel.
  • Leap strike's cooldown start at the end of the channel, not on cast.
  • Leap Strike can be used to launch Jax over walls.
  • Jax can reduce Leap Strike's Slow icon slow with Swiftness mastery 2016.png Swiftness or Boots of Swiftness item.png Boots of Swiftness, but cannot remove/reduce it with Cleanse.png Cleanse.
  • Will be disabled if Jax is Grounded icon grounded by Miasma.png Miasma.
  • Leap Strike is automatically canceled when the channel ends.

    • Jax will still dodge attacks and stun opponents when the duration ends even while being disabled by crowd control effects.
