The Hex Core can be upgraded twice, costing 1000 gold the first time, and 1500 gold the second, and cannot be sold back to the store.

This augment retains the core's 4 ability power per level, and also gives Viktor +250 health and 10 health regeneration per five. Also, Power Transfer's shield shields him for 75% of the damage done, before reductions.
Viktor places a gravitational imprisonment device in an area nearby, slowing all enemies passing through it. Contact with the device begins generating stacks every 0.5 seconds; at 3 stacks, the target is stunned for 1.5 seconds.

This augment retains the core's 4 ability power per level, and also gives Viktor +350 mana and 10 mana regeneration per five. Also, Gravity Field's cast range is increased by 250 units.

Viktor uses his robotic arm to fire a laser that travels 500 units from beginning to end, with Viktor choosing the desired path, dealing magic damage to every enemy the laser hits.
This augment retains the core's 4 ability power per level, and also gives Viktor +45 ability power. Also, Death Ray applies a burn on hit that deals 30% of the initial damage as magic damage over the next 4 seconds.
Viktor conjures a chaos storm at the target location, instantly dealing magic damage and silencing enemies hit by it for 0.5 seconds. The storm cloud stays for 8 seconds afterwards, dealing magic damage every second to nearby enemies.
While the storm is active, Viktor can re-activate the ability to move Chaos Storm to a different location. The closer the storm is to Viktor, the faster it moves.

Gravity: Chaos Storm's initial silence lasts for 1.5 seconds.
