Thifer, the Master Thief is a custom champion on the League of Legends Wiki.

Tools of the Trade

Thief's Tools: Thifer cannot buy trinkets. Instead, he carries a set of Thief's Tools in his trinket slot.

Trap Detection: Thifer can see Noxious Traps, Yordle Snap Traps, Bushwhacks and Jack In The Boxes within sight range, even when obscured by brush. These are only visible to the player playing as Thifer.

Sleight of Hand: Whenever Thifer attacks an enemy champion, he gains 5 gold. This cannot occur on the same champion for 5 seconds.

Steal: Enhancement
RANGE: 300
COST: 80 Mana
COOLDOWN: 12 / 11 / 10 / 9 / 8

Active: Thifer strikes a target, dealing damage and stealing a random buff from that target. Stealing a buff means that the target loses the buff, while Thifer gains the buff. Thifer cannot steal indefinite buffs. If Thifer steals the Dragon Slayer, Hand of Baron or Crest of Crushing Wrath buffs, he will merely copy it for 120 seconds or its remaining duration, whichever is lower. Thifer can only steal 2 buffs every 30 seconds.

  • Physical damage: 40 / 55 / 70 / 85 / 100 +100% AD
Ability Details
Steal: Enhancements is a single target damage skill that debuffs the target and buffs the user.

Additional Information:

  • Thifer can steal all beneficial, temporary buffs listed in the Buff page, with the exception of all buffs that are granted through the activation of an ultimate, such as Dominus.
    • The same goes for Rebirth, which is simply copied for 60 seconds.

Steal: Item
RANGE: 500
COST: 150 / 135 / 120 / 105 / 90 Mana

Active: Thifer dashes behind target enemy champion, stealing one of their purchased items in the process. Stealing here means that the item will remain in the affected champion's posession, but its stats and passive and active effects will be given to Thifer for a short while. Thifer will not steal items with unique passive effects that he already has. Thifer can only steal 2 items every 30 seconds

  • Steal duration: 4 / 4.5 / 5 / 5.5 / 6 seconds
Ability Details
Steal: Item is a single target dash skill.

Steal: Health
RANGE: 300
COST: 100 / 110 / 120 / 130 / 140 Mana
COOLDOWN: 14 / 13 / 12 / 11 / 10

Active: Thifer steals the life force of a target unit, reducing its maximum health while increasing Thifer's maximum health. Thifer steals a large portion immediately and then drains a smaller amount over 3 seconds, healing him rather than increasing his maximum health. The reduction and increase in maximum health lasts for 10 seconds, but the same target cannot be affected again for 30 seconds.

  • Instant Health reduction/increase: 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 +10% target's maximum health
  • Health drain per second: 10 / 12.5 / 15 / 17.5 / 20 +10% target's current health
Ability Details
Steal: Health is a single target skill that debuffs the target and buffs the user.

Impossible Theft
RANGE: 500
COST: 200 / 250 / 300 Mana
COOLDOWN: 160 / 140 / 120

Active: Thifer makes an impossible theft, stealing a target enemy champion or structure. The target vanishes for 5 seconds. If the target is a champion, Thifer also vanishes. This also causes those that vanish to be unable to move, attack and to use abilities.

Ability Details
Impossible Theft is a single target skill.

Additional Information:

  • A turret that vanishes, but isn't destroyed, will still be counted as alive. Therefore, it is not possible to steal the last Nexus turret and then be able to attack the Nexus.
  • The effect of Impossible Theft can be cleansed, causing the effect to end early on both the target and Thifer.

Edit log

Edit 1:

  • Placed a limit of 2 every 30 seconds on Steal: Enhancement and Steal: Item.
  • Impossible Theft now lasts 5 seconds at all ranks and causes Thifer to vanish as well if the target is an enemy. It also can be cleansed.
  • Reduced the health stolen by Steal: Health active to +10% target's maximum health and removed the passive effect in exchange for a health drain on the active.
