Proto L4 starts out with the item "battery pack" which gives him 100 battery as a resource instead of mana. This item can be upgraded at level 9 for 3 different things, each costing 1000g.

Battery: Proto L4 starts out with an upgradable "battery" item. Moving and ability use depletes Proto L4's battery, and the summoner platform causes him to regain it. Being below 10% battery causes him to move 15% slower.
Shock: Basic attacks against a unit shock them for all their energy and it turns it into battery power. Each basic attack slows the enemy attack speed and movement by 20% (Stats restore over 5 seconds). Cannot occur on the same target in 5 seconds. Attacks restore 15% of your battery, this is doubled against champions.

Active: Proto L4 makes a thin laser in front of him. Champions hit will take magical damage and be revealed over 6 seconds. Additionally, they will deal less damage and have reduced armor and magic resistance.
Passive: Attacking gives Proto L4 up to 10 "Warming Up" stacks. Each stack he receives reduces his cooldowns by 1 second and gives him 10% attack speed. Abilities cut "Warming Up" stacks in half. Stacks last 10 seconds. At 10 stacks, Proto L4 overheats and uses 5 battery per attack, shock stops working.
Active: Proto L4 charges at an analysed target and deals physical damage.
