    Wit's End - rework

    February 21, 2016 by Deshiba

    Greetings fellow summoners,

Today I'd like to discuss a couple of changes I'd like to see happening to . Not that the item isn't fine as it is, just that it could be better for it's role and more logical.

Currently Wit's End is built from a , and . In the magic resistance tree it is the only non-boots item that is built directly from a Magic Mantle and I'd like to change this. The proposed change in build path would also directly augment it's use as a sustained damage dealing defensive item. What I had in mind:

    +

This build path raises a few hairs, since it would include an item that grants AD. However this wouldn't be the first time that additional stats are lost for passive effects. Therefore I'd keep this as is, however for the purpose of …

    on health

    December 7, 2015 by Deshiba

    Greetings fellow summoners,

As the majority of you know, Health comes in the two flavors Base Health and Bonus Health which make up our (total or) Maximum Health. Along the years there have been many abilities that make use of this pool. On top of this there have been items introduced which make us of either Max. Health or Bonus Health. This blog takes you trough all the information that is lacking from the Health page on this wiki.

A champion's base health is the amount of health that your champion starts with at the beginning of the game, without augmentation of Runes and Masteries. This amount of health grows with each level you reach, even though it might seem like extra health it is still part of your base health pool. has a base heal…

    Taunt rework

    June 1, 2015 by Deshiba

    Greetings fellow summoners,

There are few clubs as exclusive as the taunt club. This exclusivity stems from Riot not making any new champions with this glorious mechanic for 5 years. This also means that the mechanic itself has not been looked at all this time, leaving it in a weird state on a few topics that I believe should be revisited.

A mutated armadillo rolling up to you talking trash about your family would enrage anyone to the point of wanting to smack it. But when you are angry don't you also become reckless and put more power into your swing? Then why do and make their taunted targets deal less damage? Wouldn't the opposite be more likely?

Continuing that train of thought, there should be a backlash like real anger. For those Budd…

    Banmeta

    May 25, 2015 by Deshiba

    Greetings fellow summoners,

The meta is ever changing, effected by balance in champions, items and viable counter champions. Sometimes it can be explained by a champion or item getting buffed or nerfed. But other times it seems completely random what is popular and what gets banned, its getting hard to keep up.

My best example of logical ban popularity is , who I quite like in both design and play style. I used to play her tons before she got really popular, convinced she was sleeper OP. Then happened, favoring fleshy meat tanks that can stick to targets so much that it should be called Sejuani's Frostburn amirite? At the same time it is now illogical to still ban her when both her forgiving ult and her over-tuned damage item were nerfed. Y…

    Greetings fellow Summoners,

As of late I have been thoroughly enjoying rework, playing her as a steady pick quite successfully. But as an odd player I like odd builds, like taking on Ashe. But that is not what this blog is about.

Its about the Armor circumvention choice I make on Ashe, opting for over . And for good reason, because while both items provide the same AD the similarities end there. The last whisper ends at adding Armor Penetration, but The Black Cleaver does a lot more then that.

    • It adds 20% CDR, which is huge for Ashe who has three out of four skills that have cooldowns over 15 seconds.
    • It adds 400 Health, which helps Ashe survive any burst she was unable to kite.
    • It adds the Unique RAGE passive, which helps Ashe chace and ki…
