AntiZig and I have been working on updating and expanding the rules for formatting item patch histories, both on the item page and in the patch notes. A very long discussion can be found here but the results are summarized below in the following table. We want community input on the new format and have a few questions we would like to ask (in poll form).

1.x Primary Item changes

1. What is the best way to format gold units listed in patch notes.

2. For complex items that that have a recipe that consists of multiple components. When one of the component items experiences a cost change, the affected items that use the modified item as part of their recipe will have the total cost affected due to the change. Should this type of change be noted as part of the item changes history?

3. In entry 1.4.2 of the above table the current standard on the Wiki is to use the term "Recipe cost", We believe this should be changed to "Combined cost". It is the current format used by Riot in it's patch notes. This more accurately describes the change being made. A Recipe is Items + Gold, since we are talking about the change in the gold cost, using the term recipe is not specific enough. Also, it sounds better.

Should "Recipe cost" be replaced with "Combine cost" in patch notes?
