Baeny, the Mana Engineer

I had this idea while thinking of an AD champ that could benefit from Tear similar to Ryze as an AP champ. There is a mage that benefits from mana, so why isn't there a fighter? And why not create another fighter-support alongside Kayle? The introduction of Essence Reaver finally induced me to release my idea.

EDIT: I removed Essence Reaver from his recommended items, since it's not as beneficial anymore unless Baeny focuses on Critical Strikes.

Baeny, the Mana Engineer is a champion idea by Herzog de Puce.



Absorbation

Killing a unit permanently grants 2 / 3 / 4 mana. This effect is doubled for kills and assists against champions and epic monsters. Being near a minion death restores 3% of missing mana.

Passive: If Baeny kills an enemy, he restores mana equal to 50 (+ 1% of Baeny's maximum mana) to the closest nearby allied champion.

Active: Baeny hauls off with his wrench causing his next basic attack to deal bonus physical damage equal to a percentage of his target's maximum mana or maximum energy.

The bonus damage is capped at 300.

  • Bonus per mana: 30% of target's max mana
  • Bonus per energy: 30 / 60 / 90 / 120 / 150% of target's max energy

COST: 1% maximum Mana per attack

Toggle: Baeny uses his knowledge to turn a percentage of his maximum mana into bonus attack damage, but causes his basic attacks to consume mana with each hit. While this ability is active, Baeny's auto attacks also slow for 1.5 seconds. The slow can stack on the same target up to 3 times.

Once 3 stacks have been applied to a target, the slow cannot be applied again for 6 seconds.

  • Bonus Attack Damage: 1 / 1.25 / 1.5 / 1.75 / 2 % maximum mana
  • Slow: 16% / 20% / 24% / 28% / 30%
  • Max Slow: 48% / 60% / 72% / 84% / 90%
