Probably played as a support though I guess he could work as a gank-heavy midlaner too. Every single one of his abilities has some kind of CC attached to it: knockup on passive, Slow on Q, impassable wall on W, knockback and slow on E, and two knockups on R. Base stats are the same as Leona where not otherwise specified. Base movement speed is intentionally low for an immobile melee, because once he catches you, you aren't going to go anywhere for a while.
Q works by targeting a point and then recasting it on another point near the first one. It's supposed to look like the explosions from a Nautilus ult, except manual. It has a potentially infinite range, as the cast range (after the initial cast) is measured from the position of the previous cast.
W is a wall. Similar to Anivia's but with a formation time so that you can potentially get over it. It also lasts longer and forms in a semicircle which makes it a much more potent trap.
E is a ground AoE that knocks everything away from it's center and leaves a slowing field.
R is an AoE knockup and damage, followed by a delayed AoE knockback in a larger area and more damage. First it knocks you away from it, then it pulls you back.
