Dane was once a simple priest and the leader of a village located somewhere in Runeterra. He was a very lovable, honest man admired by all the people in the village. He fathered seveal orphaned childred and raised them on his own. The village was peaceful and is rarely visited by outsiders, so he didn't feel the need for an army to defend his village. 

That was what he thought until his village was unexpectedly raided. 

The mysterious invaders stormed into the village on horse-back, taking with them whatever little scrap the village had. Food was stolen. Houses were burned. Livestock was taken. The villagers couldn't fight back. Dane could only watch in horror as his once peaceful village was reduced to mere ashes. After they have taken everything, the invaders decided to have fun with what was left of the villages. They killed every single villager they saw. It mattered not if they were women or children. They just wanted them dead. And they killed only out of liesure. Dane was the last to be killed. He was stabbed in the heart by a mysterious figure who seemed to be the leader of the marauders. 

The next thing Dane saw was nothing but darkness. Then a voice called out to him, saying "Do you desire power? Don't you want to avenge your village?"  If Dane were to accept, he would be going against his own beliefs and teachings. But those didn't matter anymore, because he was already dead. He accepted the voice's offer without hesitation. Dane was ressurrected from the dead. His now pale skin drenched in blood and covered in ashes. He looked at his burning village and gnashed his teeth. He got up, took one last look at his village, and walked away. 

Dane now travels all over Runeterra, cleansing houses of evil spirits and exorcising demons. He became widely known as a healer and savior. But his real quest was to search for the man who took his life and destroyed his village, and kill him. Only then would he be truly at peace.

When Dane kills an enemy unit, he captures its soul, healing himself for 5% of his maximum health and 3% of his mana is restored.

ACTIVE: Dane marks all enemy units in a large area around him as "Evil Spirit." While the mark is active, for 3 seconds, magic resist and armor are reduced, enemy champions are revealed, and all enemies receives True damage per second.

ACTIVE: Dane either blesses an allied champion, or curses an enemy champion. When cast on an allied champion (or himself), the unit gains bonus armor and healing from all sources are doubled for 5 seconds. When cast on an enemy champion, fears them for 1.5 seconds, slows them for 2 seconds, and deals magic damage.

ACTIVE: Dane sends out a Spirit flame that passes through enemies and deals Magic Damage. If the fire hits an enemy unit with the "Evil Spirit" mark, it consumes the mark and deals twice as much damage.

ACTIVE: Dane enters a stasis for 4 seconds. For that duration, Dane unleashes tethers on all enemy champions, dealing Magic Damage per 0.5 seconds and healing him for a quarter of the total amount of damage dealt. Afterwards, all enemy champions are stunned for 1 second. Enemy champions can walk away from Dane to remove the tether, but will be slowed by 30% for 2 seconds.
