Innate: After every 7 basic attacks, Axel has to reload his assault rifle for 1 second. During this time, Axel cannot use basic attacks.

If Axel out of combat and not at full ammo, he will attempt to reload his rifle. This will be interrupted if he uses any basic attacks.


Sticky Grenade

Active: Axel throws a grenade that sticks to the first unit/surface that it hits or to the ground at the end of its range. The grenade explodes one second after impact, dealing magic damage to all enemy units in the area.

Active: Axel tosses a proximity mine to the target location. If an enemy unit passes over it, it will explode and deal magic damage to all enemy units in the area. The explosion can be seen by allies, but does not reveal the area.

  • Activation Diameter: 250

Axel can set up to 3 mines and each lasts 4 minutes. If he sets a mine when three are already placed, the oldest mine will explode.


Berserker

Active: Axel pulls out a second assault rifle and pours mana into the guns, eliminating his need to reload for a short duration and causing his basic attacks to do bonus true damage.

  • Bonus True Damage: 15 / 25 / 35
  • Duration: 7 / 8 / 9

During this time Axel's basic attacks damage all units that they pass through on their way to the target, but each subsequent target takes 10% less damage (down to 50%). The bonus true damage only applies to the actual target that Axel aims at.

His attack animation would show 3 shells pop out of the assault rifle. The idea is that an assault rifle has around 20-30 bullets per magazine, so firing it in bursts of 3 would give him 7-9 shots to give the passive something semi-realistic to work with.

And he will also have a second assault rifle on his back that is pulled out for the ultimate, just to be clear. It doesn't magically appear or anything.
