This is a continuation and the second (and probably final) part of my Armor Warriors series. The first was for which you can find here.

And as such this begins with the same intro, with the most important thing to consider when thinking about a champion.

As with any champion design, the most important thing about them is their "Power Fantasy".

The Power Fantasy defines everything there is to know about a champion from both lore and gameplay perspective. For example is a dancer by nature, performing a constant tango between her and her ball. is a showoff who loves to stand out and perform for the crowd. is a gargantuan undead warlord who shakes the very ground under his assault. is a mayhem sowing excitement lover who blows up things for …

Etc. And every champion has one.

When a champion really makes you go "Wow..." and takes your breath away, it's pretty much always because they have a power fantasy which matches what you personally like.

    Krufix Nidalee Rework

    July 6, 2015 by Krufix

It's widely known that Nidalee has granted so much pain to players and especially pain to Riot in the past. Nidalee's kit at the moment makes her all but unbalancable, she will ether become completely unfun to play against, or completely drowned out in various metas.

I have to say that I dislike the direction her rework took her. Not talking about the champion balance or toxicity, it's just that she deserved a lot more change, a lot more "Pow!" to her powers.

For one thing her lore screams jungler. But when she was reworked she was pure mid laner... then a single change gave her the power to jungle to the point of abusivness, her rework didn't design her as a jungler and thus it was untested when she did become one.

    I'd personally like to dro…

    Ashe Rework

    November 24, 2014 by Krufix

A potential rework to Ashe's skill kit.

The reasoning behind these changes are mostly to remove a few drawbacks with her previous kit, improving her champion identity (she is now THE go-to ADC if you want CC power) and generally trying to make something which at least sounds pretty fun.

Firstly the problems with her old kit were quite well known:

    • Passive became far less powerful when you pick up crit items, it didn't do much if the enemy has an extra potion or another heal such as Sona's or Taric's, took a long time to charge up and had a tendency to go to waste on getting a CS anyway.
    • Low damage output combined with low CC power too before she gets her ultimate or her Q gets ranked up (then it gets pretty high).
    • And no escapes against enemies w…

    Tanks for all the Fish

    June 2, 2014 by Krufix
    "You're Boring."

Puns aside I'm here to talk about a role in the game which is often overlooked and very commonly missunderstood, the role of the "Tank" in League of Legends. I'm hoping to go into the nitty-gritty details of what is a tank and why [X] champion is or isn't one. I'm also hoping to go into why the commonly heard phrase during champion select "Pick tank please" doesn't really mean anything of any use.

What it's known as is that a tank in a video game is someone who is there to take hits well. It's quite a fun role to play and appeals to our primal instinct to belittle and mock our enemies, saying "Come! Hit me again! Is that really all you have!?" Whether it's the feeling of kiting and pulling aggro from a whole room of creature…
