Today, I had the pleasure of playing against what could be the most incompetent set of opponents ever.
The game began very badly. I had chosen Morgana and as the game began, in fact, after made my first click of the game, my League of Legends froze. I waited several moments in the hopes that it would recover with no luck. Apparently, my entire system had frozen. I forced a reboot of my computer. I finally was able to return to the game while the others were between levels three and five. As I left our base, though, our Cho'Gath got disconnected. Simultaneously, I noticed that my latency was fluctuating between 600 and 800 milliseconds. Perhaps, I thought, it would get better. It did not. I was forced to restart my modem, as well, and waste several more minutes.
When I returned, everything was normal. At least in so far as my LoL was concerned. Cho'Gath had not yet returned. Shaco left my lane to jungle so I could get more gold and experience. LeBlanc in our mid was dominating. I was able to hold off my lane fairly well. I mostly just tower-hugged but farmed comfortably while I was there. After several minutes, Cho'Gath returned. At this point, the others told us to just keep farming as they roamed the map. Several minutes more and we were dominating the other team completely. We had 25 more champion kills and had taken out their first two levels of turrents on all lanes.
Their Sion, showing true classiness, eventually went AFK. The opposing team started to QQ about how they were losing due to the game being 4 vs 5. My team then pointed out that for the first half of the game it was actually 3 vs 5 in the opponents favor. My team didn't whine or complain... in fact, my team dominated.
It's sad to see a group like that. I didn't take note of who they were, but I do hope I never get stuck in a team with any of them ever.
On a side-note. This game marked the first time I had ever caught all five opponents in my Soul Shackles. It felt good.
