Savage is followed by his Companion. By default, the Companion will follow Savage and attack what he attacks, but he can receive orders by alt+clicking. If the Companion is more than 1100 units away from Savage, it loses the ability to attack, and if it doesn't take or deal damage for 3 seconds, he gets teleported back to Savage.
The Companion has 350 movement speed, 35% of Savage's maximum health, 35% of Savage's attack damage, 125 attack range, 100% of Savage's armor, magic resistance and attack speed and regenerates each second 0.2% of its maximum health, increasing to 0.75% if it doesn't take damage from a non-minion source for 3 seconds. The Companion doesn't gain any stat increase from temporary buff on Savage.
If Savage takes fatal damage while the Companion is alive, it sacrifices itself to revive Savage after a 2 seconds stasis with health equal to the Companion's current health.
If the Companion dies while Savage is alive, it will respawn next to Savage after a delay equal to Savage's death timer. The Companion always respawn with Savage.

Active: Savage throws his axe in a line, dealing physical damage and stunning for 1.5 seconds the first enemy hit.
If the Companion is alive and within 300 range of Savage, he will throw the Companion instead, passing through minions for 75% damage and knocking them aside, stopping at and hitting the first champion hit instead.
Active: Savage leaps to an area, dealing physical damage to enemies within 200 range upon landing.

If Savage lands on the Companion, he immediatly bounces on its back up to 300 units towards the nearest visible enemy champion, and applying the landing damage at his final location instead of at the initial impact. If there is no visible enemy champion within 1200 range, the ability is performed as normal.

Active - Companion dead: Reduces the respawn time of the Companion by 50% of its current value. Nature's Wrath is then put on a static cooldown equal to 2 times the amount of time reduced from the timer.
Active - Companion alive: Savage savagely enrages his Companion, causing it to immediatly taunt enemy within 300 range for 1 second. For 10 seconds, the Companion's attack slows their target for 1.5 seconds and deals bonus physical damage based of the target's missing health while it regenerates 10% of its maximum health each second.
