Androkles, the Entombed Guardian is a custom champion in League of Legends.

Modular Assembly

Passive: Androkles starts off with 1000 additional gold. However, Androkles may not purchase standard items asides consumables, and can only purchase champion exclusive items: 3 basic ability items, 1 ultimate ability item, and up to two accessories.


Androkles is a modular champion, and his unique gameplay element is his modular item system: He cannot purchase standard items save consumables, and is limited to a set of champion exclusive items. However, his choice of items also determine what abilities he may wield, meaning he can play almost any role. Androkles is the ultimate flexibility champ, able to adapt to almost any situation. He still can put points into the QWER like any other champion to boost the power of the ability. Unlike my previous champions, which often involved complex effects or compound effects, Androkles is a surprisingly simple champion as all of his item abilities are actually straightforward.

TL;DR: A stance champion (with Transformation Panel, that is) with a customization and evolution aspect, the mechanic concept most aptly explained as Viktor Viktor/Kha'Zix Kha'Zix + Udyr Udyr but with items.

Abilities

His abilities are determined by the item he wields. However, he still has his basic "abilities," which increases his stats with points invested in it. All abilities have "1" point on it, which provides no bonus stats but allows Androkles to use abilities, something that is of great importance in say Dominion where he has plenty of money.

Exclusive Items

With the exception of accessories, none of Androkles' items can be sold back to the store. However, unsellable items can be removed via the detach "item".

Each basic ability item has a unique passive, named one of three: Weapon, Self, and Ancillary, and has a basic ability associated with them. One can have more than one item in the class (One can for example have Demolisher Hammer and Flamer), but only the first item bought will have its class unique passive apply. However, one can change the item providing the unique passive with the Transformation Panel.

Weapon abilities scale off the level of Attack Logic, Self abilities scale off Corporeal Integrity, and Ancillary abilities scale off Engine Power, so even if for example Flamer's ability is assigned to Corporeal Integrity, its effect will still be based upon the level of Attack Logic ability. So if Androkles has for example Improved Engine as the first item (thus his Q) and Field Generator as his second item (hence his W), both abilities will scale off Corporeal Integrity as they are both classified as self items, which is gained by leveling up his "W" ability, hence ranking up Corporeal Integrity.

With this toggled, Charged Shot will have cooldown set to 1 second. However, using Charged Shot in this state will place a stack that stacks for up to 5 times, reducing damage of subsequent Charged Shot by 8% each stack and increasing mana cost of each subsequent Charged Shot by 20. This stack lasts 10 seconds.

Its detonation lights the area, making it visible for a very brief duration, as well as dealing initial and periodic magic damage to the enemies caught while revealing them for 3 seconds. As it is a field-built mine, it is not particularly well-built, so it loses strength and lasts only 1 minute.

  • Unique Passive: Androkles detects all enemy champions within 800 units. This includes stealthed and champions in the brush, revealing them.
  • Unique Active: Androkles may reveal an area of the map similar to Clairvoyance.png Clairvoyance. If it is cast less than or equal to 1200 units from Androkles, it also reveals invisible units and wards. (Cooldown: 60 seconds)

Lore

With Basilis effectively joining the Viktor glorious evolution, Basilis brought her experience and viewpoints to the glorious evolution, most notably Basilis's desire to spread it to the dead as well. To that matter, Basilis has always sought to reanimate the dead and restore sentience, a endeavor in which Basilis succeeded in doing the former, but not the latter so far.

Evolution meant adapation, and Basilis was by then influenced by Viktor into adoping the viewpoint that it should be enforced even if force was necessary. To Basilis, if supremacy was necessary, it was imperative that the evolution fielded a force that could handle any situation (given the paradigm offered by the Jayce opposition), and thus sought out tomes containing military strategies and existing military organizations, as well as combat doctrine of organizations that had a paramilitary arm, which happened to include the Ignic Cult as well. Having studied the history and recent structuring of the Ignic Cult, Basilis has found that the Sideris has pressued the cult members into having multiple weapons, an idea that Sideris took not only from her experience, but also from Androkles, who was taken down in the Rakkorite incident. Androkles was one of the most famous Ignic Cult members, as he was known to have forged almost all melee weapons that were in vogue, all while producing new experimental weapons such as a counterpart to the Hwacha. Having found a suitable mind and inspiration, Basilis raided the tomb and extracted Androkles's corpse, which wasn't too old, and sought to revive him. However, Basilis believed Androkles's core personality that was based on flexibility shouldn't be interrupted, and sought material assistance from another Zaunite, Singed Singed, as Basilis believed that this figure was too valuable to be subjected to a full-scale augmentation when such technologies were not at a stage stable or developed enough to suit Basilis's needs. Casing the dismembered Androkles in a sustaining fluid and giving him a robotic exoskeleton, Basilis completed the goal of reanimating someone while preserving his personality (albeit in a limited fashion). Although Viktor was disappointed in Basilis's approach with Androkles, Basilis believes that by making an ally of a flexible personality, the evolution can overcome the Resistance, and hence ultimately do more to spread the evolution.
