The Game Needs a Shield-Destroying Item
Straight to the point - I believe League is long overdue for an item that deals bonus damage to shields. The fact is, shields in League are absurdly good, especially when stacked. Not to mention, shields are even better on champs who are tanky.
Sure, you can argue that mass shielding is just an edge case. You could also claim that shields have the counterplay of forcing players to "time" it correctly, rewarding skill for players who anticipate incoming damage. Of course, you can throw all of that out of the window when you can just dump all of your shields onto a prime target in a fight, and then watch in awe as the shielded person takes little to no damage with their excessive shields soaking up everything.
I think shields have built up som…
Help Me Design a Combat Medic Custom Champ (With Artwork)
Hello there, .
A long time ago on this Wiki, I used to put together ELABORATE custom champions for fun. They had artwork, voice acting and more.
Here is an example.
Anyway, long story short, I ended up quitting League at one point for a while. I had a random project I never got around to finishing. It may be years later, but I still want to take care of that loose end if only to finish what I started with my friends.
Below are some drawings by k1lleet for the champion concept that never got completed.
Before I stopped the project, the code name was Iris. However, the name is moot. That can be something else. This is where you, , and everyone else who wants to contribute can come in for this project!
Let's put this champion idea together. As you …
The State of Illaoi
Hello there, .

First off, I want to make it clear I hated the first few times I played her since creating a smurf to play League again. I thought she had a weak kit regarding design that I did not enjoy. I simply did not "get" her as a champion. However, as time went on, I grew to like her to the point where I pick her now and then to test myself. I use the word test because this is what it feels like, in both a good and bad way. It does feel like you get tested mechanically. I scoffed out loud the other day when someone told me was easy (said the player no less).
And by all means, I don't consi…
LEAGUE OF LEGENDS MUST EXPAND ITS BANNING PHASE
(Original Article)
- 1 1. Implement a “Scaling” Ban Number to Accommodate Entry to Ranked Matches
- 2 2. More Bans Will Equate to More Strategy
- 3 3. Target Bans at Competitive Play Will Always Occur

The number of playable champions in League of Legends (LoL) grows every season, but it astounds me how one particular aspect remains unchanged – the number of champion bans in Draft Pick.
There are more than 120 champions to choose from, but the system still restricts teams ban up to six champions (three per side) to this day. LoL is currently in its 6th season so it’s been long overdue for additional champion bans.
As the total number of c…
Draft Pick Needs More Champion Bans
With Season 4 of League of Legends already past its halfway mark, I am still puzzled and quite frankly annoyed that Riot Games has not addressed the number of bans in Draft Pick. To this date, the roster has roughly 120 champs. That's a lot of characters.
And yet, for some odd reason, Draft Pick only has six bans total for both sides to work with, which is a paltry number that doesn't even do anything.
Allow me to toss out a bunch of champion names who would you probably would see banned when playing Draft Pick or a Ranked Solo/Duo game.
Champion Ban Examples
All of these champions are respectively good bans in this current meta in terms of popularity and power. Of course, the name of the game is to PICK whomever deemed Flavor of the Month (Fo…
