Restraint: After not dealing damage for 1.5 seconds, Yasuo sheathes his blade gaining 5% MS and starts generating a Flow stack for every 56 / 50 / 44 units he travels by any means. At「 100 stacks 」「 5600 / 5000 / 4400 units traveled 」 and upon taking champion or monster damage, Yasuo consumes all Flow to shield himself for 100 - 315 (based on level) for up to 1.5 seconds.

Intent: Everytime he unsheathes his blade, his basic attack or damaging ability Critical strike icon critically strikes for (150 +Critical Chance)% AD.

Steel Tempest

First Cast - Steel Tempest: Yasuo thrusts his sword, dealing physical damage to all enemies in the target direction (or in a circle during Sweeping Blade Sweeping Blade)

  • Damage: 20 / 50 / 80 / 110 / 140 (+ 100% AD)

Steel Tempest applies on-hit effects to the first target hit, and grants a Gathering Storm stack upon hitting an enemy. Its cooldown and cast time are reduced by 1% for every 1.6725% bonus attack speed.

Second Cast - Steel Wind Rising: For the next 8 seconds, Yasuo can gain another Gathering Storm stack by hitting an enemy with Steel Tempest, empowering it for the same duration.

Steel Tempest 3

Third Cast - Gathering Storm: Yasuo consumes all stacks to unleash a whirlwind that travels in the target direction, dealing the same damage and Airborne icon knocking Airborne all enemies hit. Steel Tempest's Airborne icon knockup does not gain increased range Sweeping Blade.

Each Steel Tempest cast may Critical strike icon Critically Strike due to Way of the Wanderer Intent (only) and will not affect the base damage.

Active: Yasuo dashes a fixed distance (speed scales with his bonus movement speed) in the target enemy's direction, dealing magic damage and marking all enemies passed through. Yasuo cannot dash again to marked units. Yasuo sheaths his blade every dash.

Each Sweeping Blade cast increases the next dash's base damage for 5 seconds (stacks up to 4 times)

Upon arrival, he Stun icon suspends all nearby Airborne icon airborne enemies for 1 second, dealing physical damage.

  • Physical Damage: 150 / 250 / 350 (+ 100% AD)

Last Breath can Critical strike icon Critically Strike due to Way of the Wanderer Intent (only) and will not affect the base damage.

For the next 12 seconds, Yasuo's Critical strike icon critical strikes gain 50% bonus armor penetration.


Rework Goals

The mini-rework aims to further refine Yasuo's use of his high mobility. Also, it introduces a mechanic "sheathing" that utilizes one of his awesome and detailed animations.

  • Shield now recharges faster for the cost of lower shield health and the "sheathing" condition
  • Ability critical strikes does not include base damage
  • Reduced Wind Wall Duration and cooldown
  • Sweeping Blade now damages and marks all units passed through
  • Minor Stat changes
