Idea for Sion's rework

Hey guys!

I was recently thinking about Sion's rework. Though, i know that Riot is already doing it, i just want to show you all my own idea. Values here are propably disbalanced, but it's all about concept.

As i have recently noticed, Sion has really large axe, but his abilities are just not matching his theme in my opinion. So, there it comes.

I will not touch his base statistics, mainly because i don't know if these are wrong.

Enjoyment From Battle
Feel No Pain

After striking with any ability, Sion gains 6 / 7 / 8 / 9 / 10 armor and magic resistance for 5 seconds (stacks up to 3 times when hitting enemy champions or epic monsters [buffs, dragon, etc.] ).


Old passive looks stupid for me. Defensive steroid with % chance of activation... By the way, basic attacks with ultimate on are also counted into this one.

Madness
RANGE: 600
COST: 75 Mana
COOLDOWN: 18 / 17 / 16 / 15 / 14
Cryptic Gaze

Active: Sion screams at enemy unit, fearing it for 1,5 seconds and dealing damage. After duration of fear ends, he gains bonus attack speed and attack damage for 2,5 seconds.

  • Magic Damage: 60 / 110 / 165 / 220 / 275 (+ 100% AP)
  • % Of Attack Speed: 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40
  • Attack Damage: 8 / 12 / 16 / 20 / 24


Better option for AD Sion.

Death's Caress
COST: 70 / 80 / 90 / 100 / 110 Mana
COOLDOWN: 9 seconds after shield expires
Death's Caress

Active: Sion surrounds himself with a shield which absorbs damage for up to 8 seconds. After 3 seconds, if the shield has not been destroyed, the ability can be cast again to explode and deal magic damage to surrounding enemies. It will explode automatically after the 8 seconds have passed.

  • Shield Strength/Magic Damage: 100 / 150 / 200 / 250 / 300 (+ 80% AP)
  • Explosion area: 500


Slight change. A bit less scaling, range and duration, also less time to detonate shield and passive.

Brutal Strike
COST: 50 / 55 / 60 / 65 / 70 Mana
COOLDOWN: 15 / 14.5 / 14 / 13.5 / 13
Enrage

Active: Sion jumps at the target with next basic attack, dealing additional physical damage based on unit's armor and restoring % of total damage dealt as health.

  • Extra Physical Damage Per 10 Armor: 6 / 9 / 12 / 15 / 18
  • % of total damage restored as health: 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50
  • Jump Range: 380


Gapcloser. Every top lane and jungle champion likes them.

Cannibalism
COST: 100 Mana
COOLDOWN: 120 / 110 / 100
Cannibalism

Active: For 15 seconds, Sion gains bonus % of lifesteal and attack speed, armor penetration and his attacks deal bonus magic damage. Additionally, Sion's autoattacks will heal surrounding allies for a percentage of the physical and magic damage dealt.

  • Bonus Life Steal And Attack Speed: 30% / 45% / 60%
  • Heal to Nearby Allies From Physical Damage: 15% / 27.5% / 40%
  • Bonus Magic Damage: 20 / 35 / 50 (+15% AP)
  • Heal to Nearby Allies From Magic Damage: 40% / 60% / 80%
  • Armor Penetration: 10 / 15 / 20
  • AoE Heal Radius: 325


His ultimate was, imo, too strong. So i turned it into tool focusing more at overall damage and fitting into actual meta, not only lifesteal. Also, it's not useless anymore as AP Sion. And, it's propably disbalanced now too...

In total - he would be still able to go top, jungle and mid. Still able to build AD or AP.

  • Cannibalism
    • Heal from magic damage ratio reduced from 50 / 75 / 100 to 40 / 60 / 80
