Nidalee The Bestial Huntress Rework

It seems that RIOT is just going to let Nidalee sit unfinished and not even attempt to give her the actual late game buff we were promised. So far all they have done is taken off A CDR cap buffed a skill that didn't need buffs(not that the skill changed at all), and swapped 1 defensive stat for another. A 0.2 AP ratio increase on a 0.2 AP skill wasn't a buff to a skill with several disadvantages to it already. Swipe has low range, no aiming, and a low AP ratio with only one pro and that is a cooldown that is 1 to 2 seconds less than similar skills without the cons of this ability.

Anyway here is my remake that combines aspects of pre-release Nidalee and some of my idea into a more fulfilling kit. Honestly the AP ratios are probably redundant and could all be replaced with AD ratios but I'll stick with this for now.

That is all I have on this matter. Review my changes and let me know what you think of them Too Good/Not good enough/Just right.

Key Terms:

Interrupt:

  • This is equal to a 0.1 second silence or stun and its purpose is to stop channel spells.

Base Attack Damage (Base AD):

  • A champions starting Damage and damage gained from leveling up excluding damage gained from runes, masteries, auras, buffs, and items.

Bonus Attack Damage (Bonus AD):

  • A champions damage gained from runes, masteries, auras, buffs, and items excluding Base AD.

Total Attack Damage (Total AD):

  • A champions combined Base and Bonus AD

Nidalee's Pre-Release Ability set:

Nidalee - The Bestial Huntress As this hero is not released, expect any information here to possibly change.

  • Prowl (Passive)

Moving through brush increases Nidalee's movement speed by 25% for 2 seconds.

When in Cougar form, she is also stealthed for 2 seconds.

  • Bushwhack/Pounce

In human form, Nidalee lays a damaging trap for unwary opponents that, when sprung, reveals the target and reduces their armor and magic resistance for 7 seconds.

Traps disappear after 6 minutes.

Also applies the "Dripping Wound" debuff.

As a cougar, she pounces forward, dealing a small amount of damage in a small radius when she lands.


Also applies the "Dripping Wound" debuff.

Leveling up increases the Trap's armor/magic resistance debuff and (increases/decreases?) Trap mana cost.

  • Javelin Toss/Takedown

In human form, Nidalee throws a spiked javelin at her target that increases in damage the longer it's in the air, to a maximum of 300%.

Also applies the "Dripping Wound" debuff.

As a cougar, she grabs her opponent by the throat and attempts to bring them down, dealing additional damage depending on the number of Dripping Wound stacks.

Also applies the "Dripping Wound" debuff.

Leveling up increases Javelin damage and (increases/decreases?) Javelin mana cost.

  • Primal Surge/Swipe

In human form, Nidalee heals her target and grants them an attack speed bonus for 8 seconds.

As a cougar, Nidalee claws nearby enemies, dealing base damage plus extra.

Also applies the "Dripping Wound" debuff.

Leveling up increases Primal Surge's heal amount and Primal Surge's attack speed buff.

  • Aspect of the Cougar

Nidalee transforms herself into a cougar, gaining new abilities and increased movement speed in the process.

Leveling up increases Pounce, Swipe, and Takedown damage, as well as Takedown's damage per Dripping Wound stack.

Prowling Predator
(Innate): Moving through brush increases Nidalee's movement speed by 15% for 3 seconds.

Additionally all of Nidalee’s Damaging abilities apply dripping wound that adds additional effects to some of her abilities, and deals 1 - 6 (based on level) True Damage per second for 5 seconds and stacks up to 6 times.

Dripping wound Additional effects:

  • Enemies afflicted with dripping wound are revealed for 2 seconds per stack of dripping wound.
  • Bushwhack reveals enemies for twice as long per stack of dripping wound (2 seconds is now 4 seconds).
  • Takedown deals 35% more damage per stack of dripping wound on the target
  • Pounce: upon use gives Nidalee 3% extra movespeed for 1.5 seconds per stack of dripping wound the enemy she is facing has.
