Dox, the Noxian Houndmaster is a custom champion in League of Legends.

Dox's basic attacks leave a mark on enemy champions that lasts 3 seconds. Marked champions take 4 / 6 / 8 / 10% extra damage from Dox's and his hound's basic attacks. ♦ Basic attacks also cause the target to leave their footprints behind, giving true sight of them on the minimap for 3 seconds.

Additional Information:


  • This effect can affect multiple targets at once.
  • ♦ Marks the added effect from when Dox has Release the Hounds active. True sight only allows allied champions to see any target effect by Hunted on the mini map (allowing them to see where they walk will in the fog of war).
  • Target's footprints aren't actually left, seeing how many champions don't actually use their feet to walk.

Active: Dox primes his whip, increasing his next basic attack range and dealing damage to all targets within the attack area. Enemy champions hit, that are facing away, are stunned for 1 second. ♦ Enemy champions hit gain a debuff called "Sic' em". This debuff decreases the armor of the champion as well as increasing the movement speed of Rage and Terror when they attack these targets.

  • Physical damage: 35 / 60 / 85 / 115 / 140 (+70% AD)
  • Armor reduction: 14 / 18 / 22 / 26 / 30
  • Movement speed boost: 15 / 18 / 21 / 24 / 26%
  • Duration: 2.5

Additional Information:


  • The debuff "Sic' em" only effect Rage and Terror.

Crackling Leash

Ability Details
Crackling Leash is a single target ability.

Additional Information:


  • Each tick of damage happens every .5 seconds.
  • Crackling Leash will cause Rage and Terror to prioritize the champion over champions marked with Hunted.



Frightening Howl

Active: Dox lets out a bloodcurdling howl, dealing magic damage and slowing enemies. The slow fades over the duration. Basic attacks from Dox, Rage and Terror lower the cooldown of Frightening Howl by 1 second. ♦ Rage and Terror let out a ferocious howl, increasing their attack speed and the attack speed of Dox for a short duration.

  • Damage: 50 / 90 / 130 / 170 / 210 (+50% AP)
  • Slow: 16 / 20 / 24 / 28 / 32%
  • Duration: 1.5 / 1.75 / 2.0 / 2.25 / 2.5
  • Attack speed: 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30%

Frightening Howl is an AoE ability based around Dox.

Additional Information:


  • Frightening Howl is an instant ability that can't be interrupted by stuns.
  • Frightening Howl doesn't give sight of Dox if casted while in a bush, but the animation is still visible.



Release the Hounds

Active: Dox releases his two favorite hounds, Rage and Terror. The hounds target the closest target affected by Hunted. While the hounds are released, Dox's spells have additional effects (♦).

  • Damage per hound: 20 / 25 / 30 (+5% AD)
  • Duration: 6 / 7 / 8
  • Base attack speed per hound: 1.0
  • Movement speed per hound: 360 / 380 / 400
Ability Details
Summons two wolves that target the closest enemy marked with Hunted.

Additional Information:


  • Targets under the effect of Crackling Leash have priority over targets effected by Hunted.
  • Terror deals his damage as Magic damage, while Rage deals damage as physical.
  • Both hounds are invulnerable, but can be effected by crowd control, and have no unit collision.
  • Rage has 10/20/30 armor penetration and Terror has 10/15/20 magic penetration.

Change Notes

-Crackling Leash-

  • Increased the damage per second to 65 from 50.
  • Decreased the duration to 2/2.5/3/3.5/4 from 2/2.75/3.5/4.25/5 (to allow for more even ticks).

-Release the Hounds-

  • Increased Rage and Terror's movement speed to 360/380/400 from 340/350/360
  • Decreased the cooldown to 100 at all levels from 120/110/100.
