Upon falling below 35% maximum health: For 15 seconds, Ludger's weapon changes into a lance, gaining 80 - 130 (based on level) Attack Range and access to new abilities. Basic attacks will also deal 80% of the damage to enemies within 250 units behind your target (in a straight line). However, this will also disable "Change Weapon" and remove any current buffs from it. Additionally, any stuns, fears, and suppresses Ludger receives are reduced by 80% while in this form (does not stack with Tenacity effects). Getting hit by other crowd control effects from enemy champions reduce the duration of "Corpse Shell Chromatus" by 0.75 seconds, up to a maximum of 4.5 seconds.

The area will disappear prematurely if Ludger receives damage greater than 7.5% of his maximum health in one hit. When this skill goes on cooldown, it will also add a 6.5 second cooldown to Azure Edge and Stun Blitz(still affected by cooldown reduction).

The ability can be activated again while the target is successfully knocked airborne to teleport to the target and slash them with Dual Blades, dealing magic damage, extending their airborne time. If enemy is still airborne, the ability can then be activated another time to shoot a barrage of red missiles, dealing true damage to the target and nearby enemies per 0.5 seconds over 2 seconds. When this skill is put on cooldown, Form Destroyer is also placed on full cooldown.

Ludger summons 5 blades behind him which remain for the duration of "Corpse Shell Chromatus", reactivating the ability hurls one at a specified direction, dealing true damage to the first champion hit. After the 5th blade is used, Ludger teleports to the enemy last hit if they are further than 550 units away from him and lower than 15% maximum health; also, "Corpse Shell Chromatus" will end regardless of leftover duration.
