Angel, the Neverending Story is a champion in League of Legends.

Angel was born to a simple farming tribe over a thousand years ago. When Angel was a teenager, his hunting party was ambushed by a particularly clever wildebeest, which gored and killed him. The gods, however, had other plans for him. An entity descended upon Angel's body, giving him new life, on the condition that he could never die. Over a thousand years later, Angel has long forgotten who he used to be, even his own name being simply a word he was once described as. Now, Angel searches for some greater purpose to exist, something even the ancient League of Legends could not give him. He needs something more real. Something he can truly dedicate his life to.


'Til Death Do Us Part

If Angel would die, he instead becomes a wandering soul for the duration. While Angel is a wandering soul, he is invunerable and cannot be attacked or targeted, cannot attack or use abilities, and is Ghosted. Angel can purchase items while he is a wandering soul, and when his death timer expires, he respawns wherever he currently is. However, he is always revealed to the enemy while he is a wandering spirit.

While Angel is a wandering soul, he is restricted to his team's side of the map. If Angel dies while in the enemy team's side of the map, he is ejected and placed into the center of the map.

Active: Angel propels himself forward a short distance with a gust from his wings to a target enemy, using the momentum to throw a powerful punch at the target.

Active: Angel briefly reveals the opposing team's fountain and erects a gate around it, preventing enemy Champions inside from leaving their fountain by any means.

Angel spreads his wings and takes flight, gaining +200% movement speed and ignoring unit collision. While Angel is in flight, he can right-click on any allied Champion to pick them up, carrying them with him. Additionally, Angel leaves a trail behind him, increasing movement speed of allies in the trail.

When Angel lands, either by the ability timing out or activating the ability again, he flares his wings and creates a heavy gust of wind, knocking back all enemies before dropping off his passenger.
