Template:Champion infoKog'Maw, the Mouth of The Abyss is a champion in League of Legends. This is my idea of his rework. Kog'Maw has problems with his passive and escape mechanism. The first thing is, Kog'Maw will use health as his resource.

Abilities

Icathian Surprise

Upon dying, Kog'Maw starts a chain reaction in his body which causes him to gain up to 40% movement speed gradually over the duration of 4 seconds and detonate; dealing 100 + (25 × Kog'Maw's level) true damage to surrounding enemies.

Caustic Spittle

Passive: Kog'Maw is hungry, increases Kog'Maw's attack speed. The less health he has, the more attack speed he gain.

  • Attack Speed: 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30%
  • Attack Speed Per Percentage Missing Health: 0.1 / 0.15 / 0.2 / 0.25 / 0.3%

Active Kog'Maw launches a ball of acid that explode at the first enemy champion hit, deals magicdamage and reducing their armor and magic resistance enimies in a 150-radius area for 3s.

  • Magic Damage: 70 / 110 / 150 / 190 / 230 (+ 70% AP)
  • Armor and Magic Resis Reduction: 15 / 18 / 21 / 24 / 27%

Bio-Arcane Barrage

Toggle: Kog'Maw's attacks gain range and deal a percentage of the target's maximum health as additional magic damage (caps at 100 against minions and monsters) in return, costing health. Each attacks cost 1% maximum health and increase the next for 0.3%. Reactive to stop the duration and return the cost to 1%.

  • Bonus Range: 100 / 130 / 160 / 190 / 220
  • Magic Damage: 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6% (+ 1% per 100 AP) of target's maximum health

Living Artillery

Active: Kog'Maw launches a ball of acid into the air that drops after 0.6 seconds at target 100-radius area, damaging and granting sight enemies hit for 4 seconds (125% extra base damage to Champions).

  • Magic Damage: 80 / 120 / 160 (+ 30% AP) (+ 50% Bonus AD)
  • Magic Damage to Champions: 180 / 270 / 360 (+ 30% AP) (+ 50% Bonus AD)

Each subsequent Living Artillery in the next 6 seconds after a cast will cost 40 additional mana, capping at 400 per cast.

Conclustion: Passive: Keep Q: Passive increase base on missing health. Active becomes ar/mr reduction. W: Have a health cost, reduce cooldown. E: Linear skill that damage and slow upon hitting. R: Keep

Basically, I made Kog'Maw more offensive, risking his life for more power (in the lore, Kog seems to has an unlimited hunger that he eats without thinking). Q passive makes more sense with the theme. Buff the passive so I reduce the active. W: cost health, to increase the Q passive benefit. E: I want to keep Kog save from gank. By nerfing the area, the range, the base slow, I reduce the cooldown, so he can "hit and run" more. By increasing the slow when taking damage, he can chase his victim with his ultimate, slowing it.

Change resource from mana to health. Change Q from a buff to a linear skill. Change W to a toogle skill. Change W to cost 1% maximum health and increase while still using the skill. Change E back to it original, with the range nerf, lower ability power ratio and slow.
