Rufio, the Insidious Croupier is my seventh champion concept.

Rufio converts .5% - 4.5% (based on level) / 5% - 9% (based on level) of his current gold into Ability Power. Rufio loses 100 - 1100 (based on level) gold on death.


On the Slots

Passive: Marks all nearby enemies. These markers change between all the slots colors (red, blue, green, yellow, black, and white) every 2 seconds. When Rufio attacks or kills a marked enemy, its mark is locked to its current color.

Active: Rufio lines all the marks up to grant himself a persistent bonus based on the color of the marks and the number of marked enemies.

  • Red: 1 Maximum Health
  • Green: .5 Ability Power
  • Blue: 1 Maximum Mana
  • Yellow: 2/4/6/8/10 Gold
  • Black: Movement Speed
  • White: Cooldown Reduction

Hitting multiple colors voids a combo and its bonus, and On the Slots immediately goes on cooldown. If an enemy that has a locked mark is killed by Rufio, its mark remains where it died. Enemies are not marked while On the Slots is on cooldown.

All bonuses have caps until On the Slots is ranked 5; at which point the caps (other than gold, movement speed, and cooldown reduction) are removed. Losing gold by dying or spending at a shop puts On the Slots on cooldown.

Active: Rufio starts a game of Blackjack. He deals himself 2 cards to start. Reactivating within 3 seconds draws another card (Rufio may keep drawing until he hits 21 or busts). After 3 seconds without busting or hitting 21, Blackjack grants Rufio his total x5 gold. Attacking an enemy unit while in a game of Blackjack causes Rufio to throw the last drawn card at it, dealing magic damage. If he runs out of cards, after 2 seconds, he busts.

  • Magic Damage: the card's face value (between 2-11) (+45% AP)

Passive: Hitting 21 refunds Blackjack's mana cost, grants Rufio 100 gold, and gives him a huge Ability Power bonus for 5 seconds. If he busts (over 21), he loses 60 gold.

  • Ability Power Bonus: 20 / 40 / 60 / 80 / 100


Roll the Dice
COST: 30 / 45 / 60 / 75 / 90 mana

Active: Rolls 1/2/3/4/5 dice in target area for up to 8 seconds, dealing magic damage every second to enemies in its area.. Rufio gains gold equal to triple the total of the face up dice.

  • Magic Damage per second: 25 / 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 (+25% AP)

Active: Stops the dice. Rufio's next basic attack within 8 seconds deals bonus magic damage based on the face-up numbers of the dice.

  • Magic Damage: 5 times the face numbers of the dice (+45% AP)


Roulette

Rufio summons a massive Roulette wheel through the ground, knocking enemies up and away from the Wheel. The wheel remains for 7 seconds. After 4 seconds, the ball will stop on either black or red. If the ball stops on black, all nearby enemy champions are rooted for 1 second and revealed for the remainder of the Wheel's duration. If the ball stops on red, all nearby enemy champions take base magic damage plus a percentage of their current health. Rufio gains 100 / 175 / 250 gold for every champion affected by Roulette.

  • Slow: 25% / 30% / 35%
  • Base Magic Damage: 100 / 160 / 220
  • Bonus Damage: 10% + 6% / 8% / 10% per 100 AP

This is my seventh champion concept. As such, the ratios and costs may not be perfectly balanced to best fit Rufio into the existing list of champions.
