Lyle, the Manaborn is a fan-made champion concept for League of Legends.

Abilities

Manabane
ZPPHR LyleI

Innate: Enemies damaged by Lyle are afflicted with Manabane for 6 seconds. Manabane deals magic damage equal to 20% (+ 5% per 100 AP) of the damage dealt by Lyle's abilities, over its duration. Affected targets are dealt an additional 1% maximum mana magic damage every second.

Lyle permanently gains 1 / 2 / 3 bonus mana whenever an enemy affected by Manabane dies, increased to 5 bonus mana against large enemies and enemy champions.

Active: Lyle channels on an enemy champion for 1.5 seconds, rapidly stripping their magic resistance. The debuff remains on the target for 10 seconds afterwards.

  • Magic Resistance Reduction: 30 / 50 / 70 % (+ 2% per 100 AP)

After channeling, Lyle expends a great amount of his magical energy reserves and releases it, traveling towards the target. The singularity will deal magic damage to the target, and reduced damage to enemies in its path and around the target upon impact.

Background

This is my fourth custom champion concept. I've been working on it since 2013, trying to find a way to make a champion use mana like more than just a resource. I'm very fond with mages from World of Warcraft and LoL, as well as supports, and I love having lots of mana. Ryze Ryze and Kassadin Kassadin are the only ones whose abilities scale directly with their maximum mana (and I really like that concept), so this is my mana-based champion. I'm open up for feedback and critics. Hope you guys like it.

    • Curses enemies in an area, grounding them, slowing their movement and damaging them over time. The curse's duration increases if the target moves.
  • ZPPHR LyleR Majoris Potentia (new ability)
    • Strips target from a percentage of their magic resistance, then hurls energy that flies towards the target, damaging them and all enemies encountered.
