Manabane

Innate: Enemies damaged by Lyle's attacks and abilities are afflicted with Manabane, dealing 6% maximum mana as magic damage over 6 seconds. Manabane can stack up to 7 times on the same target, with each additional stack after the first one adding 1% maximum mana to the damage and 1 second to the duration, for a maximum of 12% maximum mana magic damage over 12 seconds.

Lyle permanently gains 1 / 2 / 3 bonus mana whenever an enemy affected by Manabane dies, increased to 6 bonus mana against large enemies and enemy champions.

Ability Details
Manabane is a damage over time debuff, with a self-buff component.

Additional Information:

  • Manabane can only be applied by Lyle's abilities and basic attacks, not by summoner spells or active ability items.
  • Further attacks and abilities that hit an affected target refreshes Manabane's duration.
    • Every instance of damage applies and refreshes the duration (ZPPHR LyleE Synaptic Bind's shared damage).
  • Lyle himself is not required to kill enemies to gain the mana bonus. Enemies only need to be affected by Manabane at the time of their death.

Synaptic Bind is a point-blank auto-targeted ability, and a debuff.

Additional Information:

  • Synaptic Bind cannot be activated unless there are at least two enemies affected by ZPPHR LyleI Manabane.
    • This effect will persist on affected enemies regardless of distance, as long as more than one bound target remain.
    • "Bound" status and effects can be removed by Cleanse Cleanse and Quicksilver Sash item Quicksilver.
  • Synaptic Bind shares damage taken from all sources, but not from itself (shared damage is not shared again).
    • Damage shared is calculated after resistances.


Resonating Blast

ZPPHR LyleR

Active: Lyle starts channelling on an enemy champion for 2 seconds.

If the channel is successful, Lyle releases a great amount of energy, slowly moving toward the target while dealing magic damage to all enemies it passes through. Once the singularity reaches its target, it deals magic damage to it and all surrounding enemies.

Initial Magic Damage:
200 / 300 / 400 (+ 20% AP) (+ 8% bonus mana)
Maximum Magic Damage:
1000 / 1500 / 2000 (+ 100% AP) (+ 40% bonus mana)

Resonating Blast grows in size and power as it travels, dealing 25% more damage for every 250-units traveled (up to 500% total damage).

Ability Details
Resonating Blast is a targeted area of effect projectile ability.

Additional Information:

  • Resonating Blast deals its full possible damage after travelling 4000-units before reaching its target.
  • Lyle will resume his previous orders, after firing the ability.


This is my fourth custom champion concept. I've been working on it since 2013, trying to find a way to make a champion use mana like more than just a resource. I'm very fond with mages from World of Warcraft and LoL, as well as supports, and I love having lots of mana. RyzeSquare Ryze and KassadinSquare Kassadin are the some examples whose abilities scale directly with their maximum mana (and I really like that concept), so this is my mana-based champion. I'm open up for feedback and critics. Hope you guys like it.
