Basic Mechanics and Overview

At the beginning of the game ( on the map) the player can chose one form out of his 3 forms (hyppogryph, wyvern or earthdragon), each single form has different stats and 5 completly different abilities, fullfilling different roles in the game. The player can not revert his decision.

Falconflight
(Active): Cheraim tumbles a distance of 50% of his movementspeed into the direction he is facing (over 0.3 seconds). If Falconflight is casted again while Cheraim is tumbling, he will make a leap at the end of his tumble and fly for the distance of 100% of his current Movementspeed (over 0.2 seconds). At the end of Falconflight Cheraim will roll up (0.3 seconds), causing him to tumble a second time (like the first one).

If Cheraim collides with a wall or an enemy while he tumbles he will not be able to make the leap at the end and the cooldown on Falconflight will be reduced by 4 seconds. The flight can cross walls and units. Hitting an enemy with one of the tumbles, the enemy will be knocked back for the rest of the tumble and suffer damage.

Cost: 40 / 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 mana

Cooldown: 16 / 14 / 12 / 10 / 8 seconds

Physical Damage: 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 / 120 (applies an Autoattack with Onhit-effects)

(Metamorphosis Bonus): Cheraim won't be stopped by enemies while tumbling, he will knockback and damage all enemies along his tumblepath, in Metamorphose mode this ablility will not apply Tiamat's Onhiteffekt.

Poisonous Blood
(Toggle): Cheraim leaves a trail of his impure blood, causing enemies who walk on it to take magic damage depending on his missing health, the trail lasts 4 seconds.

Missing Health Percentage: 2% / 2.5% / 3% / 3.5% / 4%

(Passive): Every fourth attack Cheraim unleashes a poisonous breath at his foe and deals the double amount of the Missing Health Percentage as magic damage.
(Metamorphosis Bonus): The Bloodtrail will now deal 1% more damage for every 1% of missing health the enemy has, Cheraim's fourth Autoattack will additionally slow the target for 0.5% for every 1% of missing Health the enemy has for 4 seconds.

Playing Dead
(Active): Cheraim falls to the ground and stops his heartbeat temporarily, deceiving his enemies with a fake death, making them unable to target him. The enemy will receive the message that they have slain Cheraim and get the gold and experience they would have gotten for the kill/assisst till the end of the ability, the ability will run out after a maximum of 4 seconds, or when Cheraim takes any action or casts Playing Dead a second time. Cheraim must be below 20% of his maximum health to be able to cast the ability.

Damage to Health Restore: 2% / 2.5% / 3% / 3.5% / 4%

(Passive): Cheraim restores his health from any kind of damage he deals to the enemy.

Last Strike
(Metamorphosis Active): Cheraim accepts his unfortune fate of death and launches a last assault, sacrificing his own lifeforce to damage the enemy for 100% of his current health, the damage is divided between all enemy units equally, Cheraim's current health must be below 20% of his max health to be able to cast Last Strike.

Additonally to his passive from Playing Dead Cheraim restores 0.2% of his maximum health everytime he damages an enemy unit (includes items and summoner spells).

Metamorphosis
(Active): Cheraim injects himself with a fluid, transforming him temporarily into a more powerful form, this form empowers his abilities, gives him bonus health and increases his attackrange. He transforms after 4 seconds of chanelling, if the channeling is interrupted the remaining duration before the transformation is doubled, during this time he will neither be able to attack, nor can he cast any spells and his movementspeed is slowed by 15%. Every succesive transformation will give Cheraim a buff which reduces the channelduration by 0.2 seconds each, up to a maximum of 15 stacks, upon death he loses 1/3 of the stacks.

Static Charge
(Active): Cheraim creates an orb of lighting between his hands, which grows in size and power over time for up to 4 seconds. Upon casting this ability a second time Cheraim releases the orb, which will fly with a speed of 400% of his current movementspeed into the direction he is facing, upon release the sphere loses every 100 units distance 10% of its original power (hence the max traveldistance is 1000). Every 0.1 second channeltime Cheraim will increase the orbs power by 0.8% of his current mana.

If the sphere collides with an ally champion, it will remove all debuffs (except summoner spell debuffs) and will be eliminated, if it collides with an enemy champion it will deal damage and remove all non-ultimate buff (except summoner spell debuffs) and will be eliminated. During the channeltime Cheraim can not attack, or cast Exchange or Metamorphosis, if he is stunned, knocked-up/-back, feared... or silenced, Cheraim will instantly release the sphere.

(Active): Cheraim sacrifices 10% of his current mana to unleash a energized bird, the bird travels to the chamion Cheraim has selected. If the target is an enemy, he will suffer the half of the cost as magic damage and the other half will burn the foe's mana, if the target has less mana then half of the cost, the other half will deal truedamage to the enemy. If Cheraim selects an ally, the ally will gain 50% of the cost as heal and 50% as mana restore, if the target has full mana or is a manaless champ, the target will get another 30% of manacost as heal. If Cheraim targets himself he will only gain 50% of the cost as heal.

Forceful Smashes
(Innate): Cheraim uses his entire body to assault the enemy, dealing 10% of his armor as magic damage and 10% of his magic resistence as physical damage to the enemy he is attacking or damaging with spells (items and sumonerspells excluded). Cheraim gains 10% in ratiopoints for every debuff the enemy has till 4 debuffs and 5% in ratiopoints for any further debuffs (percentages of ratiopoints stacks additive, not multiplicative).

Deep Underground
(Active): Cheraim digs himself in, becoming invisable and untargettable by enemies non-area-of-effect spells and attacks (if they can see him, they can target him). He can stay underground for up to 4 seconds before his oxigen starts to decay, causing him to take 20% of his max health as damage for every further second (if Cheraim's health reaches 1 HP, he will come to the surface and end Deep Underground). During Deep Underground Cheraims movementspeed is slowed by 20%, if he doesn't move to attack an enemy.

Cost: 40 / 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 mana

Cooldown: 26 / 24 / 22 / 20 / 18 seconds

(Metamorphosis Bonus): Cheraim can stay for up to 8 seconds underground before his health starts to decay and the movementspeed speed will not be slowed, when not targeting an enemy. If Cheraim casts Ravaging Twist while being underground, it will cause the surface to collapse and create an unpassable ring of brocken rocks around him, causing all enemy champs to fall down over 0.25 seconds and sufer physical damage.

Knockout
(Active): Cheraim charges with 50% bonus movementspeed towards a selected enemy champion (once he starts his charge he can not stop by himself, if Cheraim is stunned, feared, knocked-up, knocked-back, rooted... (any mobility hardCC)), he will ignore unitcollision and damage all enemies along his path. When he reaches the target, he will knock it up for 0.5 seconds. The next attack against this target while it is in air will deal bonus damage depending on the current height of the champion. If Cheraim uses this ability underground, the knockup duration and maximum height are increased by 50%.

Cost: 80 / 100 / 120 / 140 / 160 mana

Cooldown: 20 / 18 / 16 / 14 / 12

(Metamorphosis Bonus): The knockup duration and maximum height are increased by 50%. If the target is below 10% of its maximum health, Cheraims second attack will be a bite, which devours the target, giving Cheraim permanently additional 50 max health.

Ravaging Roar
(Active): Cheraim unleashes an deafening roar, which stuns all enemies and himself briefly for 0.25 seconds and slows all enemies afterward for 2 seconds. If Cheraim hits at least 2 champions with Ravaging Roar he will be able to cast Ravaging Twist in the next 4 seconds. If Cheraim does not cast Ravaging Twist, the cooldown will be reduced by 10 seconds.

Background/Lore

As a child, Cheraim was taken away from his homevillage in Demacia during a Noxian raid and brought to the laboratories of Zaun to serve as a slave there. Very soon the scientists of Zaun realized his potential of becoming a leading scientist and teached him the essence of their knowledge.

After 4 years of studying and the practise of lifetreatening selfexperiments he advanced in a scientistic area, still unknown by Zaun: the genetical modification of organic lifeforms. At this time Cheraim finished his first series of experiments and discovered his first form: the wyvern.

But his creation holds a risk, if it is not canceled after a short time, the user would lose comtrol over himself.

The Noxian and Zaunian leading staff decided, that his inventions should be tested in real combat in the upcoming war against Demacia...

At this time a fire broke out in Cheraim's facility destroying all the the researches and inventions he did till there,

after the fire was quenched, the Noxian military staff and the scientists of Zaun searched for Cheraim among the few survivors. Unable to find him, Noxus suspected Ionia of Cheraim's abduction and setting his facility ablaze.

Noxus ordered over 50 spies to secretly infiltrade Ionia and search there for Cheraim, while the Noxian military troops had to search whole Noxus and Zaun for him, after 2 years of successless searching they give up on the possibility of Cheraim's survival.

This incident was kept top secret, not even telling the soldiers, who they were actually looking, all they had was just a picture of a man's face.

Sometime after the return of Jarvan from his dragonhunt (the time when Shyvana joined the League).

He heard of a rumor about a dragon living in the forest near the place, where Cheraim's village used to be. Jarvan soley accomplished by Shyvana left immediatly for the hunt.

By just walking along the road they were able to see a dragonlike creature flying above their heads, both heading for the direction the creature were flying to.

When the creature landed jarvan charged into battle right away, taking it down with some swift strikes.

After the short fight Jarvana turned away from the corpse and head over to Shyvana, who observed everything from distance.

Jarvan, wondering about the easy victory, asked Shyvana whether this was a real dragon, or not. Shyvana by herself has never seen a creature like this before, iritated she told Jarvan that is was neither dragon, nor halfdragon.

They decided to take the corpse with them, so they can investigate it back home. As they were turning there heads for the corpse they saw an empty place.

By now they realised, that they had been tricked with the easy defeat. Following the bloodtrail left by the creature they encountered a hyppogryphlike existence in front of them. Without hesitation both of them charged for the being.

Just when they were about to land their blows, the creature unleashed a bright sphere of lighting at them, unable to dodge they took the full power of the sphere and fell unconsciousness to the ground.

Both where found by a wanderer and taken back to Demacia, unable to remember anything after leaving Demacia. Jarvan was unharmed, while Shyvana's small finger wouldn't stop bleeding.

Four years after Jarvan's incident with the dragonrumor Noxus was ready for the war, which would have occured 6 years ago, if Cheraim had not disappeared.

The entire Noxian military force heads for Demacia.

Not prepared for the invasion, Jarvan was only able to mobilize a few soldiers for defence.

Noxus stands infront of the main gate of Demacia, the siege team started with the preparations of the machines.

The siege went the way Noxus wanted it to be, already the victory seemed to be within Noxian's grasp,

when they heard a deep growl from the ground below their feet, followed by an earthquake in the center of the Noxian army, where the siege weaponry was placed and ready for attack.

The ground beneath their feed opened up and a third of the noxian army fell into the abyss, terrified by the loss of over 3000 soldiers the Noxian army run aimlessly across the field.

Swain unable to understand what just happened, ordered the army to advance and take Demacia, after a few minutes of total disorder the soldiers got over their fear and returned calm to their formation continuing with the conquest.

Just when a huge 80 feet tall crocodilelike dragon shot from the ground into the sky and fell on 400 soldiers.

Now the army totally lost their faith in Swain and ran for their lifes back towards Noxus.

Swain and the Noxian heroes reverentially retreated, the military staff made up its mind, they desperatly need this kinds of monsters to conquer Demacia.

Jarvan and the Demacian heroes watched the whole event unable to say a single word. Demacia has won the war without even fighting.

Half an hour after the disappearence of the dragon all Demacian heroes went for the tunnel which would lead them to the monster.


When they reached the end of the tunnel, the footprints of the dragon stopped, but he was nowhere in sight.

After observing the footprints closely they were able to recognize human footprints, when they reached the area the footprints were heading to, a panorama of a huge underground facility opened up in front of them, even though they were below the surface it was bright as daylight here. The gate leading to the inside was left ajar, they investigate this huge building, but couldn't find a single person. When they went further inside they came to a large room with a huge gate, which was not closed, Lux, slowly taking a peek inside, saw somone sleeping in a bed, cautinous moving towards the person they recognised that the man laying in the bed did not breath, after short examination they realised that the person died recently. Garen and Xin Zhao took him and went upside where they found a second Gate leading to the surface. Leaving the secret facility they entered a forest, as they went deeper in the forset Jarvan's and Shyvana's memories returned about the Wyvern 4 years ago, but kept quiet for now. When they finally reached Demacia they took him to a hospital, there the doctors said that medical help wouldn't bring him back from the dead even with by using Demacian magic, cause he was dead for more then 4 hours now. They still tried to resurrect him, but without success. The treatment seemed to be ineffective and everyone left the room. Outside Jarvan and Shyvana explained what happened in the forrest they were trespassing for years ago. Suspecting the person they carried all the way to Demacia of being the other to monsters, as they went in again he was gone the window wide open and Jarvan and Shyvana realised, that they fell for the same trick a second time.

As all of them came back to the underground facility, the person, who saved Demacia was standing in the gate dressed like a scientist. He introduced himself and explained who he was, where he came from and that he didn't introduced himself back then cause he was searched by Noxus. So that he would not give away his identity. Noxus would have immediatly waged war with Demacia, if they had found out. He had to find a way to secretly help Demacia, cause warning them with the information he had, would give away his identity and he was not ready for war back then. That is the reason he took some of Shyvana's blood at their first encounter so that he could extract the dragon blood from it and create another fluid, which allows him to transform into a earthdragon. For the past for years he had to master this new form so he could inject himself with higher quantity of this fluid to become a even stronger dragon to be able to scare of the entire Noxian army, without killing to many people. He explained, that when he started with the selfexperiments in Noxus, he died everytime when he transformed back, but was resurrected by his assistants. As he got used to it, he wouldn't die from a normal dose rate anymore. But he needed to train 4 years to be able to have at least slight chance to survive a 16-point overdose. He explained that he actually really died after the effect completly wore off in the room they found him, cause he was still not ready for such a dangerous atempt. And that they resurrected him, he just kept playing dead till they left him, so he could hide himself from publicity again. At the end he told them that he would help Demacia, if they really need his help, but he would not help out with anything else but defence, cause he doesn't want to kill needlessly. His parents died during the Noxian invasion 16 years ago and he will hold the responsible persons to account, but he doesn't want anyone else to suffer the same fate he had to.


Living for more then 10 years in Zaun under the influence of Noxus, but it was not enough to corrupt the heart of this Demacian, the Demacian finally have a scientist joining the League.

Afterwards Cheraim reconstructed his entire facility in the center of Demacia, 200 feet below the academy of magic, where he wood teach those with a pure heart, to achieve knowledge for a good purpose. Casually continuing his researches and experiments for the walfare of humanity, but refusing to give away his results to the Demacian military, not allowing his knowledge to be abused for evil purposes.

just without the 2 tusks, but has a horn on his nose similiar to a rhinohorn and has 2 t-rexlike hinderlegs. the size in game is only about the same size rene nasus shyvana have in their ulti form.
