Below you will find a comprehensive list of new features, cosmetics and balance changes that are currently active in the PBE relative to the live server. These changes are all highly tentative and are all subject to change, or may even be scrapped. A change that has been scrapped will be stricken through. Reasons content might be reverted includes bugs or end-of-cycle patch preparation.

League Client Update

  • LCU is currently in the stage of open alpha.
  • Testers can sign up for testing in their account's settings.
  • Instead of Adobe AIR, this client uses as a main framework CEF (The Chromium Embedded Framework).
  • Currently, only the basic features have been implemented. These include Play Loop (Summoner's Rift - blind pick 5v5, Twisted Treeline - blind pick 3v3, Howling Abyss - ARAM 5v5), Profile, Collection, Friends List with Chat, etc.
  • Ban quotes. External video

Replay System

  • Updated assets. The official Replay system was pulled from the PBE almost a year ago and has not been heard from since, although was confirmed to be in development. While unconfirmed - the update to the assets could signify progress.

Ashe Ashe
  • Ranger's Focus.png Ranger's Focus
    • Active's damage per arrow reduced to 21 / 22 / 23 / 24 / 25% AD from 23 / 24 / 25 / 26 / 27% AD.
      • Total damage per flurry reduced to 105 / 110 / 115 / 120 / 125% AD from 115 / 120 / 125 / 130 / 135% AD.
Cho'Gath Cho'Gath
  • Feral Scream.png Feral Scream
    • Cooldown reduced to 13 / 12 / 11 / 10 / 9 seconds from 13.
    • Silence duration reduced to 1.5 / 1.625 / 1.75 / 1.875 / 2 seconds from 1.5 / 1.75 / 2 / 2.25 / 2.5.
    • Range increased to 650 from 585.
    • Now acquires targets post-cast rather than pre-cast (it is easier to dodge).
Graves Graves
  • End of the Line.png End of the Line
    • Detonation AD ratio reduced to 40 / 55 / 70 / 85 / 100% bonus AD from 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 / 120% bonus AD.
    • Delay on detonation after hitting terrain before exploding increased to 0.35 seconds from 0.25.
  • Quickdraw.png Quickdraw
    • Bonus resistances reduced to 8 / 11 / 14 / 17 / 20 from 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30.
Ivern Ivern New Champion
  • Friend of the Forest.png Friend of the Forest – Innate
    • Ivern cannot attack or be attacked by non-epic monsters. Instead, targeting a jungle camp initiates a 2.5-second channel that, upon completion, places the monsters within a grove. Placing a grove costs health and mana in the process, and cannot be cast if Ivern lacks the resources.
    • The grove matures over 40 - 6 (based on level) seconds. When fully grown, Ivern can select it to free the monsters, sending them away, and recieving 100% of the camp's gold and 100% of the camp's experience. Smite.png Smiting a grove frees the monsters instantly, regardless of its maturity.
    • At level 5 and onwards, freeing the Red Brambleback red or Blue Sentinel blue camps leaves behind a sapling that can be picked up by an allied champion to gain the camp's buff, consuming it in the process. If at least one allied champion is nearby, Ivern can pick up the sapling to transfer it to the nearest one in range. If an ally kills either monster, they also leave behind a sapling that only he can consume.
  • Rootcaller.png Rootcaller – Q spell
    • Ivern throws a vine in the target direction, dealing 80 / 125 / 170 / 215 / 260 (+ 70% AP) magic damage to the first enemy hit and Root icon rooting them for 1.2 / 1.4 / 1.6 / 1.8 / 2 seconds.
    • Ivern and his allies can target enemies Root icon rooted by Rootcaller to dash to them, placing themselves at their attack range from the target.
    • Cost: 60 mana
    • Cooldown: 16 / 15 / 14 / 13 / 12
  • Brushmaker.png Brushmaker – W spell
    • Passive: While in brush, Ivern's basic attacks gain bonus range and deal bonus magic damage. These bonuses persist for 3 seconds after leaving brush.
    • Active: Ivern grows a patch of brush at the target location, Sight icon revealing the area within and around it for 3 seconds. Brushmaker spawns more brush if used near terrain or more brush.
    • Brushmaker uses a stock system and Ivern can keep X in reserve.
    • Cost: 30 mana
    • Recharge: 40 / 36 / 32 / 28 / 24 seconds
    • Cooldown: 0.5 seconds
  • Triggerseed.png Triggerseed – E spell
    • Ivern gifts a seed to the target allied champion, himself or Daisy, shielding them for 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 / 240 (+ 80% AP) for 2 seconds.
    • After the 2 seconds, Triggerseed bursts, dealing 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 / 180 (+ 70% AP) magic damage to all nearby enemies and Slow icon slowing them by 70% for 3 seconds.
    • Cost: 50 mana
    • Cooldown: 12 / 11 / 10 / 9 / 8
  • Daisy!.png Daisy! – R spell
    • Ivern summons his sentinel friend Daisy, who remains on the field for 60 seconds as a controllable minion.
    • While Daisy is active, Daisy! can be used to move her to the target location.
    • Cost: 100 mana
    • Cooldown: 160 / 140 / 120
Jinx Jinx
  • Flame Chompers!.png Flame Chompers!
    • Mana cost increased to 70 from 50.
    • Base damage reduced to 70 / 120 / 170 / 220 / 270 from 80 / 135 / 190 / 240 / 300.
Nunu Nunu
  • Stats
    • Base attack damage increased to 59 from 56.86.
    • Attack damage growth increased to 4 from 3.5.
  • Visionary.png Visionary
    • New Effect: Now starts the game with 5 stacks.
  • Consume.png Consume
    • Cooldown reduced to 12 / 11 / 10 / 9 / 8 seconds from 13 / 12 / 11 / 10 / 9.
    • Passive effect reworked:
      • New Passive Effect – Feed the Yeti: For every large or epic monster consumed, Nunu gains 10 out of combat movement speed and 3% bonus maximum health for the next 55 - 140 (based on level) seconds. Can hold up to 5 stacks that fall off one at a time and are not lost on death.
      • Recently consumed monsters will not grant additional bonuses (60 second cooldown).
      • If Willump is starving, he will move significantly slower and all spells will cost more.
      • "Hunger" movement speed penalty is 35.
      • "Hunger" mana cost penalty is double base mana cost.
      • "Hunger" timer included under health bar.
  • Absolute Zero.png Absolute Zero
    • Movement speed slow now increases to 95% over duration of channel.
Taliyah Taliyah
  • Stats
    • Base health regeneration increased to 1.4 from 1.2.
  • Threaded Volley.png Threaded Volley
    • Cooldown reduced to 9 / 7.5 / 6 / 4.5 / 3 seconds from 10 / 8.5 / 7 / 6.5 / 4.
    • Worked Ground duration reduced to 120 seconds from 140.
    • New Effect: Casting Threaded Volley on Worked Ground now refunds 50% cooldown.
Vladimir Vladimir
  • Transfusion.png Transfusion
    • Heal AP ratio increased to 25% AP from 15% AP.
    • Crimson Rush bonus heal against minion reduced to 35% from 50%.
  • Tides of Blood.png Tides of Blood
    • Is now more easily avoidable. Missiles are fatter and fewer.
    • Maximum magic damage AP ratio increased to 100% AP from 70% AP.
    • Maximum magic damage health ratio reduced to 5% maximum health from 8% maximum health.
