Time in a Bottle

Zilean generates 2 / 3.5 / 5 / 6 / 12 experience (does not count towards level up) every 5 seconds. Time in a Bottle is on cooldown when the game starts.

When the amount stored is enough to level up an allied champion and Zilean has been out of combat for the last 10 seconds, he can right-click the target ally to initiate a 1 second channel (if interrupted, Time in a Bottle goes on a reduced cooldown)

A successful channel levels up the target and grants Zilean the stored amount as experience of his own.

Time in a Bottle is a unit-targeted buff.

Additional Information:

  • Time in a Bottle marks allies with two circles around their feet (the inner one represents how close they are to leveling up, turning golden when able to)
  • The target ally is not required to be out of combat to be leveled up by Time in a Bottle (only Zilean is)
  • Zilean only consumes the amount of experience required to level up an ally (he retains the stored excess for later use)

Time Bomb

Active: Zilean throws a ticking time bomb to the target location that detonates after 3 seconds, dealing magic damage to all surrounding enemies.

Magic Damage:
75 / 115 / 165 / 230 / 300 (+ 90% AP)

Time Bomb will attach itself to units hit directly, or those who move within a small radius while it's on the ground, detonating at their location when the duration ends.

Time Bomb detonates immediately if another one attaches itself to the same unit, briefly Stun icon stunning all affected enemies.

Additional Information:

  • Time Bombs landing directly on top of multiple units follow a priority order for whom to attach themselves to.
    1. Units already carrying a bomb
    2. Enemy champions
    3. Allied champions
    4. Enemy minions
    5. Allied minions
  • Time Bombs will detonate immediately if their holder dies.
  • Time Bomb can cancel an enemy's Recall.png Recall despite dealing no damage.
  • Time Bombs enter stealth if the ally they attach themselves to does so.
  • Zilean will be targeted by turrets when attaching a Time Bomb on an enemy champion.
  • Zilean does not score assists if Time Bomb's enemy target dies before it explodes.
  • Zilean can detonate an enemy counterpart's Time Bomb by placing his own on the same unit (the first bomb still deals damage)
  • Time Bomb will be removed if the holder dies and is revived (Guardian Angel item.png Guardian Angel, Chronoshift.png Chronoshift) before it explodes.
  • Time Bomb will still explode if the holder becomes untargetable, still dealing damage unless they are also invulnerable (Zhonya's Hourglass item.png Zhonya's Hourglass, Frozen Tomb.png Frozen Tomb)

Active: Zilean reduces Time Bomb.png Time Bomb's and Time Warp.png Time Warp's cooldowns by 10 seconds each.

Rewind is a self-targeted buff.

Additional Information:

  • Rewind.png Rewind cannot be ranked up at level 1 (essentially useless at that point)
  • Rewind can only be cast when either Time Bomb.png Time Bomb or Time Warp.png Time Warp is on cooldown.

Time Warp
COST: 50 Mana
Time Warp

Active: Zilean bends time around the target champion, Slow icon slowing enemies for 2.5 seconds or granting allies bonus movement speed for the same duration.

Movement Speed Modifier:
40 / 55 / 70 / 85 / 99%

Time Warp is a unit-targeted ability.

Additional Information:

  • Time Warp cannot reduce enemy movement speed below 110, reducing non-linearly when going below 220 (gets closer to 110 the stronger the Slow icon slow, varying between 110 and 120 if the target didn't purchase Boots of Swiftness item.png Boots of Swiftness)
  • Time Warp increases raw movement speed non-linearly when above 415 (doing so yet again when above 490)

COST: 125 / 150 / 175 Mana
COOLDOWN: 120 / 90 / 60

Active: Zilean places a protective time rune on the target ally champion or himself, lasting for 5 seconds. If the target takes fatal damage during that time, they are put in Stasis icon stasis for 3 seconds and then revived, regaining a set amount of health.

Health Regained:
600 / 850 / 1100 (+ 200% AP)
