Time Bomb

Time Bomb

Active: Zilean throws a ticking time bomb to a target location that detonates after 3 seconds, dealing magic damage in a 330-radius area.

  • Magic Damage: 75 / 115 / 165 / 230 / 300 (+ 90% AP)

If the bomb lands within 100-units of a unit or a unit moves within range while the bomb is on the ground, it will attach to them and will detonate from their current position at the end of its lifetime.

If a bomb is placed on a unit already holding a bomb, the first will detonate immediately, also stunning all enemies in range for a brief duration.

  • Stun duration: 1.1 / 1.2 / 1.3 / 1.4 / 1.5
Ability Details
Time Bomb is a ground-targeted ability.

Additional Information:

  • If the bomb lands directly on top of multiple units, it has the following priority system for whom to stick to:
    • Units already carrying a bomb.
    • Enemy champions.
    • Allied champions.
    • Enemy minions.
    • Allied minions.
  • Bombs will detonate immediately if its holder dies.
  • Time Bomb can cancel an enemy Recall.png Recall despite dealing no damage.
  • If a bomb is placed on a stealthed ally, it will not be visible to the enemy team.
  • A ticking bomb will draw turret aggro.
  • A ticking bomb does not grant an assist if the target dies before it explodes.
  • A bomb will detonate an enemy Zilean's bomb when placed on the same unit. This does not prevent the enemy's damage.
  • If a bomb carrier takes lethal damage and triggers a revive effect, such as Chrono Shift.png Chrono Shift or Guardian Angel item.png Guardian Angel, the bomb is removed like all other debuffs.
  • A ticking bomb will still detonate even if the carrier becomes untargetable. The carrier will still take damage unless they are also invulnerable through effects such as Frozen Tomb.png Frozen Tomb or Zhonya's Hourglass item.png Zhonya's Hourglass.

Active: Zilean reduces the cooldowns of Time Bomb.png Time Bomb and Time Warp.png Time Warp by 10 seconds.

Additional Information:

  • Rewind.png Rewind cannot be ranked at level 1, as it is an essentially useless ability at that point.
  • Rewind can still be cast even when Time Bomb.png Time Bomb and Time Warp.png Time Warp are already off cooldown.

Time Warp

Active: Zilean bends time around a champion, Slow icon slowing an enemy or hastening an ally by an amount for 2.5 seconds.

  • Slow/Speed boost: 40 / 55 / 70 / 85 / 99%

Time Warp is a unit-targeted ability.

Additional Information:

  • Movement speed cannot be reduced below 110, and slows that would reduce it below 220 are modified. To put it another way: a reduction of 99% will not reduce you to 3 movement speed, but rather it will reduce you closer to 110 than a weaker slow would.
  • Raw movement speeds above 415 and again above 490 are subjected to soft caps that reduce it at very high haste strengths. If the target ally of a maximum-rank Time Warp has no other movement modifiers other than Boots of Speed item.png Boots of Speed, their movement speed will not be almost doubled, but between 550 and 610.

Chrono Shift

Active: Zilean places a protective time rune on an allied champion for 5 seconds.

If the target takes lethal damage during that time, they will be placed in Stasis icon stasis for 2 seconds, becoming untargetable and invulnerable but also unable to perform any action.

When they come out of Chronoshift's Stasis icon stasis, they are revived with a set amount of health.

  • Health Regained: 600 / 850 / 1100 (+ 200% AP)
