Ability Details

Voidspawn are autonomous minions that attack nearby enemy minions and towers.

  • Voidspawn will travel down the nearest lane, attacking enemy minions but ignoring enemy champions.
  • Voidspawn will ignore void targets: other Voidspawn, Void Gates and Summon Voidling.png Voidlings.[2]
  • You will gain gold for minions killed by Voidspawn.
  • Nasus Nasus will gain stacks from killing Voidspawn with Siphoning Strike.png Siphoning Strike.
  • Sion Sion will gain 2 hp from killing Voidspawn because of Soul Furnace.png Soul Furnace.
  • Veigar Veigar will gain 1 AP from killing Voidspawn with Baleful Strike.png Baleful Strike.
  • Voidspawn will not drop souls when dying near Thresh Thresh.
  • Voidspawn will grant bonus gold when last hit with Greed mastery s2.png Greed, Loaded Dice.png Loaded Dice, and Parrrley.png Parrrley
  • Voidspawn will explode on contact with turrets, dealing its ability power in damage.
  • The first and every fourth Voidspawn gains damage and ability power equal to 15% of your maximum health at the time the Voidspawn is created.
  • After 5.5 seconds, Voidspawn will begin losing 40% of their current health every second.
  • Voidspawn movement speed increases to 520 when within 775 range of an enemy structure.

Ability Details
  • Void Gates placed within an enemy turret's range have the highest target prioritization.
  • Void Gates are for all intents and purposes a structure, like a tower or inhibitor.
  • Void Gates can be collided against with terrain-interacting abilities.

Notes

  • Its deployment was planned for the first preseason patch V4.20, but it was delayed due to reprioritizing other art assets.[3][4]
  • Raptor Cloak item.png Raptor Cloak was actually made for this item and Ohmwrecker item.png Ohmwrecker was tweaked to build from it later on.[5]
  • "Void Gates" that the Point Runner passive (present also on Raptor Cloak item.png Raptor Cloak and Ohmwrecker item.png Ohmwrecker) refers to are created by this item.
  • Upon release, the Voidspawn were given huge damage whenever a player disconnected for longer than a minute since it causes their champion to gain 1000 armor and 1000 magic resistance. Zz'Rot Portal was disabled until it could be fixed.[6]

V6.10:

  • Bug Fix: Fixed a bug where Zz'Rot Portal's Voidspawn were ignoring minions.

V6.7:

  • Bug Fix: Expanded the range indicator of Zz’Rot Portal to better match Voidspawn travel distance.

V6.6:

  • Armor reduced to 55 from 60.
  • Magic Resist reduced to 55 from 60.
  • Gold on death increased to 50 Gold from 25 Gold.
  • New Effect: Portals now die within 5 hits, but they regenerate after exiting combat for 5 seconds.
  • Removed: Voidspawn Voidspawn consume Spoils of War.
  • Added minimap icons for allied and enemy Zz'Rot portals.

V5.22:

  • Total cost reduced to 2700 Gold from 2750 Gold.
  • Health regeneration reduced to 125% from 150%.

  • Point Runner maximum speed reduced to 20% from 30%.

  • New Effect: There is now a counter that tracks total gold earned.
  • Empowered Void Spawn resistance scaling removed.

  • Stats: +50 armor, +50 magic resistance, +100% base health regeneration
  • Unique Passive - Point Runner: Grants +30% bonus movement speed that build up over 2 seconds when near turrets or Void Gates.
  • Unique Active: Spawns a gate at the target location for 150 seconds (150 second cooldown, can't be placed near turrets). Every 4 seconds the gate spawns a volatile voidspawn that travels down the nearest lane. Voidspawn will behave as standard minions except they will ignore champions and explode on contact with a turret, dealing a burst of damage. After 4 seconds, a voidspawn's health will rapidly decay to 0. The fourth voidspawn and every voidspawn thereafter will deal bonus damage equal to 50% of your resistances.
